okay. Kami banished one of em that went evil. They thought he as destroyed forever, but he came back. A bunch of them fought him, etc. The kami were eventually all killed in their mortal form some way or another, but had by then created family lines, and had clans around them. The Mantis came about because of the Thunder Dragon, but he actually gave up his divinity to a man, because the guy was that freaking awesome. Daigotsu, the celestial and father of the Spider clan, is not a kami, just a man who ascended in power so much he became equal to the Kami.

Then Kali Ma happened, the destroyer, she came and tried to kill everyone, almost succeeded, was pushed back. Also the Khan betrayed the clans, so the Unicorn are not very trusted. At the end of it, they found that the portal through which many were coming from was in Scorpion territory, and so the Scorpion and the Crab worked together to build a wall around it and seal it off from the rest of Rokugan.

There's a bunch of really awesome, detailed story that is missing from that but yeah.

Well they where elementalists but I wanted to keep with fire, shiba where normally samurai where it was the Izawa that where the Shugenja, however, I though in a bind having a sword might be a good idea. XD

@-@ yep lots of reading to do... depending on the pace of the rp i might be able to be in one of the clans .. that or some form of a freelance cameo character x'D should be interesting to say the least I don't think I've written much of anything during the described time period in the wiki :P

There are twelve blood swords, they are kind of like enchanted items but all are cursed... such as the blood sword truth will actually make you admit the truth on things, the last owner admited to having intimate relations with a twelve year old boy and jumped to his death soon afterwards if I remember correctly.

Also is taint going to be involved?

Kaguya - I'll be avoiding the Taint for the most part. And the blood swords....I'll cross that bridge when we come to it, but for now I think I'll avoid them, as we have people unfamiliar with the story and game.

I can find information on that however shadowlands and taint are part of the whole experience... perhaps find out who is accustomed to the game and sort of pick on them with that more until the ones who aren't understand?
