Speaking of Magneto!
Watching so many X-Men movies so close together gave me a major rager for that fella. Unf. |
I've watched First Class (Wasn't such a good villian there but everyone has their off days) but besides that all my X-men has been the comic books.

Aha, I like the movies, but they're a hell of a lot better with someone else to chat with about all the characters the entire time. It was kind of a family thing for us.

I know the movies will seem incorrect to someone like me who has folloed the X-men comics so First Class was my first taste of it. I have to say it a great story an all, it just isn't X-men though.

I know what you mean. You just have to take it with a grain of salt though. At least they're really trying to make it good, you know?

Yes I do. As long as I don't think of it as X-Men it was a great movie. It had a great plot, good character and the people who did it actually sorta knew stage magic!

Well, if you really want to b*tch about character portrasions, the comics break there own characterizations and keep bringing people back from the dead. Professor X has come back to life at least 7 times and he has cured his paralysis many more times then that.

It's not sticking to character that I'm worried about, really. It's just that something felt a little... off about them as a whole.

The fact they are anime people? 'Cause I know people who will tell you anime ruins everything. Without actually watching it though I can't give my opinion on what might be wrong.

I don't knooow... Maybe... From the couple of episodes I saw, there was just this... massive imbalance of the personality types. It was like watching them run into walls. Entertaining, granted, but...
