@Meizicht: Lol, lucky then xD Night shifts?

Meizicht 07-16-2011 02:35 AM

I'm unemployed, officially. xD
No jobs in this town of mine.
Idk if I can talk about the setup that'll be happening in the near future though.
... I'll let it be a surprise.

Nefer 07-16-2011 02:37 AM

Meizicht: Ah ok I see... Bah, I don't have a job right now either, in search of one since I finished University (and uh, familial health problems happened in November so I had to stop searching for a while, I started searching again only in june so...)

Ginger 07-16-2011 02:37 AM

I wish I could work night shifts.. that would be perfect!

Nefer 07-16-2011 02:40 AM

@Ginger: I wish I could too! But in the domain I'll work in (computing mostly), I extremely doubt so...

Nefer: Sorry to hear. :'c
Good luck, though~
I'm happy to have awesome parents who actually want their twenty year old son to live in the house still, so I don't have to tough it out like a lot of people. +spoiled rotten+
I'm thankful. ; v ;

Nefer 07-16-2011 02:47 AM

@Meizicht: Lol, I still live at my parents' house too, well apartment, I only have to pay for clothes and the such so it's great for the time been ^^ And good thing I am too, otherwise it would have been terrible when the events happened last November (I was my parents personnal driver for a while because of all that).

Meizicht 07-16-2011 02:51 AM

Yeah, that's fortunate that you were there for them. They're okay though, right? :'o
I dunno what I'd do if something happened to my parents. OTL
+always paranoid about that kind of thing+

I'm unemployed for almost a month from a factory work, I'm having a hard time for people to take me seriously because I have had odd end jobs, and one of the companies denied to interview me because I don't drive

Nefer 07-16-2011 02:53 AM

@Meizicht: Yes they are, everything comes to an end...actually later today to say the truth, I can't wait for that, FINALLY over! ^_^

And well, it was my dad, but since my mother doesn't like to drive, and even less in winter, I was the designed driver apparently ^^; And ya, I hate to think about what may happen to them too, because, well you know, they're not always going to be there, and it made me realised that, let's just say I wasn't the happiest person ever back then, but I managed to hide it well to my friends etc. ^^;;;

Meizicht 07-16-2011 03:01 AM

Echo: I don't drive either; scares the hell out of me. OTL
I've never had an actual 9-5 paycheck-paying job for most of my life, and when I did, it was sort of illegal. >A>
+worked at a car wash when he was around 13, which was under the legal age+
I was supposed to get a job as a logo designer for some company, but after talking to the woman for like a week, she suddenly stopped contact with me and never said a word to me since. .__.
Still don't know why. =A=

Nefer: :'D Good~
My parents are relatively healthy, aside from my dad's smoking, so my paranoia is purely that, lol. I still worry though. OTL
I do the same though, except to friends, lol. When I hide my issues, it's always from people irl, but I have to rant to everyone online or I'll end up popping tagamet. xD

Echo-chan713 07-16-2011 03:03 AM

Just like me, I'm afraid of Driving, I've had a 7am to 3-4pm paycheck for a week (Fired) and then a 9-9 for about a month during Halloween (seasonal)

Nefer 07-16-2011 03:05 AM

@Meizicht: Lol, personally back then I only told about 2-3 people via MSN/DA, and that's because they were wondering when I'd come back in Mtl, my answer had to be that so I told them, and then the others learnt from them, not me ^^;

Urg, that's bad for the job, I hate it when they don't give news about it, it's been...3 jobs now that I had an interview with and yet no news whatsoever so far @_@

PS: I drove because I didn't have the choice, before that the last time I did we didn't have the same caravan and it was about 3 years ago xD

Meizicht 07-16-2011 03:12 AM

Echo: I've just kinda given up on job searching in this town, really, since all we've got is like 6 pharmacies, 4 nursing homes and fast food restaurants. And everything else is not hiring. And since I've got stress issues, working a job at a McDonalds would probably end up badly. >A>;
I consider the situation I'm in an unpaid vacation, though, lol. xD
+tries to look at it positively+
But I've got options online, which I'm going to take, I just am not sure if I can openly discuss it. >___>

Nefer: It's been like 3 years since that woman stopped contacting me, lol. +shrug+ If she was as rude as to just cut me off without telling me yes or no, even though she was the one who asked for me, I wouldn't want to work for her anyway.

I'm terrified of driving because when I tried with the truck we have, touching AIR around the gas would send it screeching off like a damn bullet. Dx
It idled at like 20-30mph, seriously. I didn't have to touch the gas pedal to drive it down the dang street, lol. So I vowed never to touch a steering wheel ever again.

Echo-chan713 07-16-2011 03:15 AM

My last job was a factory job at EMI (Early man Images Sportswear) where we screen print and embroidered souvenir clothes and ship them out to different parts of the country I had the responsibility of tagging the clothes and packaged them before they get sent to the warehouse.

I was the only one in the whole building that doesn't speak native Spanish oTZL
