I didn't read the challenge. I unno. I'd probably still do the challenge... but I have the same "advantage" you described. I'm bilingual, meaning my grasp on English is deeper through academics since you really have to know how language works to learn a new one. My writing mechanics are sound. I self-studied English outside of school so I wouldn't suck balls at it like my little sister does (her French is amazing). My mom is a free-lance writer as a /job/ and I could get her to revise my piece, she majored in English before switching to a Political Science degree.

Oh, taken several creative writing courses and I've never gotten below a 75 on a university essay -- written the night before or the day of with little to no revision. Not to mention I juuuuuust finished a course that completely ripped apart JRR Tolkien... >> We had to write in that. I did quite well.

I'd be confident in this challenge. >> Writing, to me, is easy.

But seriously. I would definitely like to see more challenges that actually inspire avatar-making creativity. Writing a backstory to a character is nice and crap, but we should have at least been given a theme or challenge to make our character around. And I agree with Hermes that the first two round themes were pretty similar. =/

Sorry that we haven't posted the winner of this round and such. Anu and I have been a little busy, but we should have everything done tonight. I'm not too sure if anyone will be eliminated this round, due to a contestant dropping out, but we will post the order we feel everyone came in. Again, I apologize. EVERYONE'S ENTRIES are amazing thus far! I really love this challenge a lot.

Sorry to upset everyone, we thought it would just be something fun to do on the site that brought some challenges and even things to do. Sorry everyone feels so against this and those who decided to stay will be given prizes for keeping on with us.. Thank you for your participation.

I don't think anyone had a problem with competition...
That we were just expecting something else... more avi based, less other things.
