I can do it, though, college has always been my plan of action, and I can't give up. I've got one year down, three more to go.

I never had a plan.. mom never thought to save up money for me.. I never made it through high school xp I got my GED instead

Its been a while so I think I might just start out at the bottom to be on the safe side mhmm.

My parents never saved for me, either.

Whenever they made jokes about winning the lottery it was always "We're gonna buy all our kids a car" and I was all like "I'd rather have an education."

my mom always says 'if i win this sweepstakes we'll move to where they have plenty of jobs and no one will know where we're at'

her family ... sucks and she wants to move to somewhere so they wont ever find us or talk to us again. -.-

My family is kind of the same way. We spent 15 years of my life without any contact from my mothers side of the family. Then suddenly they find us because my sister made a myspace account and next thing you know we're getting phone calls.

The one thing that really annoys me is that sometimes we get calls from my aunts and/or my grandmother screeching at us because it was either one of my cousins birthdays or their own birthday or we didn't send them a gift for Christmas or something... Calling us cheap and all sorts of crap. But heres the kicker. Not once do they ever send us gifts or even a bloody card and they demand us to send them crap because "We need to make up for lost time" even though they are the ones that pushed my mother away and cut contacts with her.
