Besides the coppery water, you might want to make sure your water isn't acidic, as that might be why the pipes are eroding (if that's the case at all).

Okay so apparently after making that statement I took my medication and then just made... whatever this avi is lol. It's... slightly different? But mostly just weird. I've noticed when I try to create things when I'm medicated I get a good base and then just add random accessories
