I've been to the Grand Canyon. ouo If you can get past the sheer magnitude of it's height and overcome the fact that people touring it sometimes fall to their deaths accidentally, it's amazing! ^~^; Really a sight to behold...from about 15 feet away from the edge, no closer pls thank you.

I lived near Seattle for a short while, but didn't get a chance to appreciate it. So I wouldn't mind going back there. I was surprised by the lack of rain, though. Due to being used to more heavy duty rainfall.

I've been to Seattle once. It was okay, but I was too young at the time to really remember much. And my grandma couldn't move around that well, so we didn't get around to see as much as I think we wanted to. Would love to go again.
Also saw Yellowstone mentioned. Have been there twice, it's really awesome. And possibly might take a weekend and go again with a local friend who's never been hopefully because I want to go again. Also would love to find time to go camping up in Glacier Park this summer. My family used to spend 1-2 weeks camping up there esch summer when I was a kid. It's beautiful and I would love to actually hike some of the trails up there that I haven't been on. And some of the ones that I have. |
the most striking thing i remember from my trip to seattle is the jewellery made from the volcanic ash of Mt. Rainier and... there was another one... Helen or smth.
like they're rlly pretty gems n not expensive. n the fact they're made from volcanic ash was rlly cool to me. |
