I say yes. It counts and it's way more than I've done lately...

I am in loads of pain from chipping away at 4-6 inch deep ice with a pick axe. My sister's place had solid ice covering her back porch and she has water coming in her wall by her porch, oddly by the side the ice/water was not pooling at. There was mold on the back of her bookshelf that was in the wet area, mold under the carpet, general water damage to the wall. I also shoveled as much snow as possible away from her house on the side where the leaky wall is to prevent it melting and running towards the wall. Then when I got home I spread salt on my driveway and was shoveling more ice off my own driveway when a substation in the next town over effectively blew up and cut power to 3 towns including mine. So I drove to my other sister's to give a light to my mom who was baby sitting at my that house. 45 minutes later the power was back on and we came home and I worked on our driveway again. So I cleared 6 feet by maybe 8 feet of 2inch deep ice off my driveway. And now it is 2:30am and I am exhausted.

Big ole slime gif under the spoiler!

Kaderin Triste 02-18-2017 08:06 PM

Lol. It looks so fun!

I have come to the conclusion that I like slime in the same way I like bath bombs. They're cool to watch, but I don't want to use them.

That's half way to the slime side.... yesss gooooood....

Kaderin Triste 02-18-2017 11:26 PM

I don't like the feel of slime. So I will probably never actually want to own or make any.

Damies 02-19-2017 08:22 PM

What about the feel is icky to ya? My slime is runny, but not overly sticky, so I enjoy it very much. xD

Kaderin Triste 02-20-2017 06:18 PM

I don't like...I don't know...the squishy, slimy feel of it? I don't know how to describe it.

Ugh I am broke again... and I meant to buy some supplies fo making stuff but noooooo.

Kaderin Triste 02-21-2017 11:46 PM

Being broke sucks! Which reminds me, I need to get a check in the bank sometime this week...

I finally got some hat pins I had produced given back to me by a friend who was storing them, just gotta get the etsy up and running again and I can start selling again =3
I also have a plan for a few new pin designs I'm thinking about working on tomorrow....

I tried building a paper model of a stormtrooper helmet... and messed up, so I ended up having to trash the whole thing (I'd glued a part upside down, and when I noticed, and tried to fix it? tore key anchor points). So I have to wait until Dad's printer has more ink in it to print it off again, or I have to save up to have the local print shop print it off for me.

Kaderin Triste 02-23-2017 02:57 AM

Aww that sucks, Den!
Hopefully you can try again soon though!

Den 02-24-2017 11:53 PM

I'll work on a second attempt when I'm able to print off stuff without it looking washed out (Dad's printer is low on color ink, which affects how everything comes out), but for now, I'm working on scaling up some pepakura stuff for a costume, though I suspect I'll have to use poster board for it in the end.

A 3D printer would be pretty awesome to use to craft things! I'd make World of Warcraft armor and weapons! It'd be awesome!

Den 02-25-2017 09:23 PM

The Do Space in Omaha has a 3D printer... I have a LONG list of things I wanna print out, but to do so, I need money to pay for the materials...
