We can probably make it optional and not judge them. It would just kind of be a little twist in the competitions if everyone had to join and what not. Though, the pumpkin contest is going throught the whole month, not every cycle.

But you guys keep changing rules, and adding things that are required.
(That I didn't know WAS required until I got curious enough to look at that post)

If things like this keep up I probably won't take part in the next 10, and I'm honestly thinking about dropping out now...

I work over 50 hours a week. I don't normally do extra things like this, with my spare time... But I thought it would be fun.
Avi's are not that hard, nor time consuming. And I would be making new ones anyways...

While I like that you have a contest anyone can join, I don't think it should be required for the 10 of us to do...

This is a hilarious concept. I can't wait until it gets underway.

At first we weren't going to have any contests, so the whole thing is kind of a new addition. We did say that we would have surprises and such. If you feel so strongly about this, I will talk to Anu about it. I'm sure we can both come to saying it's not required.

I think OPTIONAL would be the best for it. Even if the top 10 don't do it, it wouldn't affect their score or anything, strictly avatars. Just a little game for more users to join in on the action.

Also, it's a little hard starting something out like this. We knew people were excited, so we decided to open in a bit early. Most things said that there would be much much more, since we didn't really know for sure what to do yet, but I'm thinking that we pretty much have it all down. When I see anu tomorrow, I'll talk to her. I'm sure it wouldn't be any kind of problem to change it around. Though, I do have to say that in a competition, we shouldn't be switching the requirements around, since it is a competition. We are trying to see who's best and what not, but I FULLY understand where you're coming from, so no worries there, Losty-chan. <3

I understand that you guys just started and theres some things that need fixing, so I get that. (owning a charity made me realize how things don't always work right)

But, like.. Making required things... is scary. If you want to make something like that you should have it go into effect at the start of a NEW round. Not in the middle of one. I know we just started but it does make a difference.

UPDATE: Contests are not required by the models for each cycle. Feel free to still join the contests for a chance to win the current aurum-monthly items. <3
