I saw a Kabuto silhouette while out today, but I was running errands with a friend and didn't have time to go actually catch it. But will try heading over where it was on my day off to see if maybe it will spawn there again. |

Pokémon GO! I love the game but my phone just hates it. It disconnects me from the network quite a lot, and doesn't operate smoothly. So unfortunately I haven't played it much recently. I didn't get a chance to start until the beginning of this year however.
I do enjoy it when it works though! It's fun to find and catch them XD |
Finally after weeks and weeks of bad luck I've finally caught a Cindaquil! ^_^
We we just about to do the weekly shopping and there's a park nearby with a few stops that can be seen from the supermarket car park. I saw it and made my other half turn the car around and go to the park and I ran out to the stop and got it on both my phone and his iPad ^_^ It was the last starter we were missing too ^_^ |
Yay! There was a Cindaquil nest/spawn point at a park I walk by on the way to work for a couple weeks, but I didn't always catch them...
I am still missing....the 2nd gen water starter. I don't know what it's called. I never kept up with a lot of the gens. |
Totodile ^_^ That was the first one we caught as we are near lots of water biomes and we got Chikorita only because of the grass event but not enough to fully evolve either one yet.

That sucks that your phone won't run the game properly. Have you got the latest software for your handset? I took the plunge and upgraded my phone just so I could play as my previous one was a Windows phone where none of the apps I wanted were available. ^_^;; |
I do as far as I know. It ran is near perfect when I first downloaded it earlier in the year. It is an old model phone, but it's supposed to be enough to play it just fine.

It could be poor data. Or it could be the phone's software/system. Because my old onr hated running PoGo, but when I upgraded to a newer one it runs fine. (I have a pre-paid so system updates aren't generally available.)

Not too sure I need many more rock types. But that's cool anyway.
Will probably just do my usual and play on the way to and from work. Okay. Read the info. There are a few pokemon that I still need that will be more common during the event. But still probably won't change my playing times. I'll get what I can get between work and home and back again. |
Gizzie can't play anymore now t.t they just updated another 50something mbs and well my cell is too maxed to update so sadly Gizzies days are now over with Pokemon go and I have to uninstall it :( I have plenty of memory card space but the internal space is mucked so I can't download the update to even move it over to the memory card this bites -.-

Can't you move something else over to the chip memory? Like another game or something like your photos?

Everything else is over on the memory card well my games and the photos that I took after I got the card I had several photos on the phone before I got the card and I clicked the whole default save to card and all so new stuff is auto moving but I don't know how to get the old stuff to move because it didn't move, the old game moved but not the old pictures :/

In slightly happier news, I hatched my first Chansey last night ^_^ My original/first Chansey my other half went and caught me during the Valentines event so I'm not counting it as I didn't catch it myself... ^_^;; And I finally got myself on a gym for the first time in months ^_^ |
Lucky, I need to try and stop at more pokestops, but I can't afford paying for data in my car right now. Maybe if I'm lucky there will be a pokestop I can do when I go out tomorrow. I haven't tried doing gyms since the game was still a huge craze, but it might be easier for me now to try and get on a gym.

Well...so far, I haven't experienced any different Pokemon than usual.
No more rock type pokemon than I normally see...so this event has been pretty lame and I haven't bothered to play much. |
The event has pretty much only just started...
We seem to have a lot of Omanyte, Kabuto and Slugma spawning around here with the frequent spawns of Ryhorn and Geodude, but no sign of Shuckle, Larvitar, Onix or Aerodactyl yet, but from tonight for the weekend we'll be at my nans where there are no spawns at all most likely (as there's never been anything around there before) -_- I'm just glad this event will last longer than the previous one... |
I have seriously only seen the usual Pidgey, Sentret, Murkrow, Spinarak, and Rattata as always.
XP MIGHT try playing some this weekend if I get better spawns later today. |
I haven't played Pokemon GO in a long time. I did like it at the beginning but pretty much got bored with it as time passed by. I do think that it's pretty interesting how they incorporated different locations to obtain certain pokemon though.

So, apparently I thought the event started a couple days sooner than it actually did.
Caught an Aerodactyl at work. The only pokemon in the rock event info that I don't have at least the first evolutionary form of is Corsola. Will probably manage to evolve a couple of what I have soon. |
I caught Omanyte not long ago x3 Evolved a Geodude to a Graveler... Got 2 slugma.. ovo I need Kabuto yet..it keeps showing but i can't find it ever =o= it taunts me

I am 1 slugma away from evolution. Need a few more onyx and omanytes. I have only caught a few kabuto. They are kind of tricky. Need A LOT of larvitar still, but i heard they're still pretty rare even with the event.

I'm kind of lucky in that where I live and work have pretty abundant pokestops. (There are 6-7 within like a 3 block radius of my apartment and 4 on the same block of where I work.) So, while I do occasionally run out of pokeballs, it's pretty easy to re-stock |
They really don't want poor people who live in areas with little to no pokestops near by to play their game =/

XP I really do not envy people who live in rural areas. I'm poor, but at least I live in a big enough city to have conveniently located pokestops. |

So it looks like the event is now over, how did everyone do?
I finally got my gold achievements for fire and rock types, so now all I have left to work on getting is fighting types and dragon types ^_^ Also thanks to the reduced walking distance for buddies I finally got my Jumpluff and Blissey ^_^ I also had more luck with the evolution items dropping and managed to get a Steelix and a second Slowking during the event too ^_^ |
