We experienced a lot of this in the Idaho conventions. I think it is because of two things. 1. lack of parental supervision with minors. 2. Mob mentality - there are so many of us we can get away with whatever we want.

ALso! I say parental supervision because when I was a teenager I helped host an anime meet up at the mall. Everyone who attended was 14-16 years old with the odd ball couple of 20+ people. Everyone on their own I knew, and they were all wonderful people. In a group though, they'd start chucking coins off the stairs and throwing condoms around and would just make a giant mess around the mall.

Ah, well see the con I go to has security all over the place, and there are staff members as well. x'D

PoC means "people of color" correct?

The insult comes from people dressing as a "race"

Example: Hey, I'm going as an Amerindian. Look at my tomahawk and headdress! How exotic!

If someone doesn't know a costume is a specific character or legend, they may assume the above.

The only one I've been to is the local Fanime con with my friends. Sadly, the dealer's room has not had a decent graphic t-shirt for years, that's like half the reason I go! XD
It's still fun nonetheless.

Cons can be fun if you go to the right one

and if you go with the right people... going with an exboyfriend who wanted to stay friends SUCKED D:< he was glued to me the whole time
