I just turned 21 so who knows, I may drink more outside of home with friends.

Never drank in public cause of my age, but I had the OWNER of the restaurant handing me free Jello shots because he thought I was over 21 (which is common) until I told him that I'm 19 he looked at me weird as if I have 2 heads, then I showed him my ID to prove it.

Mostly the reason why I rejected it was for the safety of the business cause they can get in trouble for giving an underage person alcohol. As well as I don't like gelatinous texture and the burn.

Most of the time while it is illegal, people do it anyway.

In America, your legally an adult at 18 so you can vote, go to sex stores, smoke, etc. but you can't drink until you are 21.

In Alabama, you can smoke at 18 but you can't buy smokes until you are 19

you can smoke here at 16 but cant buy till 18

I'm in NY, it's 18 to smoke/buy them, lottery, sex stores, virtually everything. Drinking 21 (but that's because federal gov won't help fund road work unless the state is 21 for drinking). The only other thing to look forward to is at age 25 you can rent a car in your own name.

Woo renting cars! That's the fun part right there. Well...sort of.
