It is.. because the PSP vita or Go doesn't have a disk slot ono at least nintendo tries to keep the older games playable on the newer systems

Nintendo allowed the GBA to play GB games.. the DS play GBA games... 3DS play DS games =/ *Nintendo gives out free games too xD*
