When we moved, we had people painting our walls (Since we wanted them neutral for the family who would buy our house) and I remember sitting in the kitchen and the painters would be blasting their music, (mind you, they didn't even ASK if they could play loud music) so I said, "I'm not going to take this!" And I turned up my indie folk music to drown out their music.

I think they got the idea, but it was still awkward as hell

oh phew i was worried! I like the sunglasses they give you when they dilate your eyes. I always felt like johnny bravo.

Starbucks is great and all but I strongly prefer Peets. Their coffee is just so much better, but sadly there's only one in my town. :(

our house has a cellar, but it's liable to flooding, so it's pretty much not a good idea to go down there in the slightest.

we don't get hurricanes over here anyways. not as far as i know.

the house where i lived before my current house had a basement, it was damp and mildewy smelly. we did have a substantial amount of water in there by the time Hurricane Floyd got to us - it was a LOT of rain at that point, google says this was back in 1999.

but my current house doesn't have a basement. or an attic XD

If it was up to the plumbing dude, my basement will remain dry xDDD

ngl, more houses should have basements. they can come in handy sometimes.

Especially in tornado prone areas. Unless those areas are also flood prone.
