Crystallyn Whisper 04-14-2012 01:45 AM

It does. *sigh* I'll just wait until tomorrow to start again. Really want a Gastly.

Asami 04-14-2012 01:47 AM

Crystallyn Whisper 04-14-2012 01:48 AM

They're really common in Sprout Tower, but only at night. ' w'

Asami 04-14-2012 02:13 AM

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 02:55 AM

Is this an online game?

Espy 04-14-2012 03:45 AM

-falls asleep in-thread-

Gallagher 04-14-2012 03:46 AM

-whimpers- Ooowwww... I fell and hurt my knees... And hit my head...

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 04:43 AM

How in the world did you do that?

Gallagher 04-14-2012 04:46 AM

I have this strange habit of waking up without pants, and putting them back on in the dark while still sleepy and reallyreallyreally having to take a piss? Yeah, it didn't end well. My carpet doesn't even have much padding at all, so it might as well have just been right onto the cement. And, my bed is in the middle of my room, with my desk in the corner and a bookshelf beside it. Just walking room, so it's easy to bump against things!

The Krazy Kat Lady 04-14-2012 04:52 AM

~Kat hands Doc an ice pack and a strong alcohol-infused drink~

All better now? ^_^

Gallagher 04-14-2012 04:55 AM

-grins- Much, thank you~ It's lovely to see you 'round these parts, dear! And not even with a wall of text... I feel rather special now! Sorry, had to say it~

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 05:41 AM

I hesitate to ask, but if you're getting up to go to the bathroom anyway, why bother to put pants on?

Gallagher 04-14-2012 05:53 AM

Because about 85% of the time, I go without underwear, and I do not live alone.

I'm not very ladylike. -scratches hairy legs and belches-

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 05:59 AM

That's where robes come in handy.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 06:00 AM

Yeah, but my robes are all the way over there. -points across the room-

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 06:04 AM

Do what I do, leave one on the foot of your bed.

*stares* Crap. Bad weather predicted for the midwest and parts of Oklahoma and Texas. I hope it misses my part.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 06:09 AM

I haven't got too much to worry about storm wise outside of hurricane season.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 06:10 AM

I'd prefer hurricanes myself. You get days and days of warning ahead of time with those. With tornadoes there's almost no warning.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 06:15 AM

This is a fair point, but things still get a little crazy. I'd rather have hurricanes than tornadoes, too, but that doesn't make it any more fun. We've been having more and more tornado scares the last few years, too, and some have actually touched down. No one in the area has any basements. The ground isn't good for it. We'd be in big trouble.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 06:17 AM

My house doesn't have a basement either. Almost no houses around here do, which is majorly stupid.

*yawns* I'm calling it a night. Back later!

Gallagher 04-14-2012 06:20 AM

Very stupid. What the hell.

Don't die.

Night!

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 10:27 AM

Yeah, don't die should be everyone's rule #1. If I were ambitious I'd look into one of those in-ground storm cellars for the backyard.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 10:29 AM

Should be, but it isn't, no, too often it isn't. Lots of folks I know that don't have that as a priority, or rather, lots I know that are the exact opposite, myself included at times. -grins- I've been awake since 4am, which is what I get, trying to take a little nap before midnight even and passing the fuck out. I feel like writing, or something, I don't know. I've been singing. And reading. I'm a little fucked up, did you know? It's absolutely brilliant!

I love me.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 10:30 AM

*laughs* Sounds like sleep deprivation to me. And yeah, I love you too.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 10:33 AM

Hardly. I've slept, like a lot, I always sleep a lot. Unless I wake up more often than I've aware of. That could be an issue. I've always needed more sleep than other folks I know, though. I don't feel tops unless I have a good ten hours or so. I read something once, long time ago, more use you get out of your brain, the more sleep you need, yeah? I think it makes sense. Not that people that don't sleep are dumb, but. I don't know. I forgot the point I was trying to make.

I'm not used to going this long without someone to talk to.

I got a little lonely.

Sorry.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 10:36 AM

*hugs* It's okay, I love train of thought. I've always been a heavy sleeper myself, especially in cold weather. Of course, with my dreams I almost live two lives.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 10:39 AM

I remember my dreams a lot, just not recently. Not really, anyway. I usually have nightmares. My nightmares end up like movies, sort of. And they happen over and over, usually in the same night, starting over every time, and I'm aware of it so I try and do things differently, but that only makes it worse.

I'm never in my own dreams unless it's a nightmare. Otherwise I either take on a role, or am just watching.

I'm not a very heavy sleeper. I have my moments, but more or less, I'm woken up every day by a message or two sent over instant messenger.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 10:42 AM

I can remember my dreams vividly when I first wake up but I never bother writing them down. I really should, they're extremely detailed.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 10:43 AM

A couple of the things I've jotted down in my writing thread are dreams, actually. I usually only write them down when they stick with me and I don't want them to. Gets it out of my system, sort of.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 10:45 AM

That's a thought. Taking my dreams and writing them down in story form.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 10:46 AM

It could be interesting. It's pretty brilliant when you start finding patterns in those sorts of things.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 10:47 AM

The only problem is I really suck at writing. I tend to be a bare bones type writer, with no gift for description at all.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 10:49 AM

Bah, bare bones is cool. It can always be spiced up if needed. I prefer bare bones to pages of flowery bull.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 10:51 AM

Heheh, you'd like mine then probably. I don't do flowery.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 10:52 AM

Well, I'm naturally bare bones as well, I've just tried to get into more interesting habits through the years.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 10:56 AM

*nods* I'm just not much into writing, so I've never worked on it.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 10:57 AM

Well, there's nothing wrong with that. On the plus, it's usually easier to add than to cut back.

Red Calypso 04-14-2012 11:00 AM

*nods* That's certainly true!

I'm heading off for a while. As usual, I'll be back later.

Gallagher 04-14-2012 11:00 AM

Brilliant. Take care! Hopefully I'll get some rest between now and then...
