when i get plain ground beef that's not premade into patties, i've mixed french onion soup mix right into the meat. YUMMY!
here's the thing though: younger daughter (14, high school freshman) is my picky eater, and doesn't like 'funny stuff' (various spices, french onion soup mix) in burgers. older daughter (18, college freshman, lives away at school 3 hours away) loves all that kind of stuff. so my cooking is kinda bland when it's me, hubby and younger daughter. *sigh* in other news, i'm wanting to change my 'Woo, Graduated High School' status to something else, but i have no idea what. |
Yeah it's a rather boring post title.
And just teach your daughter to not be a picky eater, if you indulge them too much they just get worse as they get older. Mix? You mean like cup a soup mix? |
she's 14, i'm hoping it'll get better! that one time in the past we gave her the choice of 'eat it' or 'don't eat it and you can't have anything else to eat'? she'd rather NOT eat something she didn't like. that didn't last very long. once was all.... i made stuff she was sure to eat.
and yep, like a cup-a-soup mix. =) |
hello, my friends!
how are you all today? |
hey there Anna Claire! we've been talking about food, so now i'm hungry... LOL!
also... i'm done work like now, so i'll be back in a little bit! XD |
I love talking about food tho and i prefer fresh spices or ingredients instead of powders.
|
talking about food make hungry.
fresh is good, but i can't always get it, or, well, i'm just lazy sometimes. |
Hello all. And how is everyone?
|
hullo Reaper! well, my sinuses are misbehaving but otherwise all is good. =)
|
I'm trying to relax before bed, I still have a few mins till I can play the claw game again.
|
relaxing before bed is always a good thing to do. =)
|
Yeah when it was my boys that stressed me out.
|
ugh. how did they stress you out?
|
Well my 3 year old is still not potty trained, no matter how HARD we have tried the past year even though he knows where and where not to go. I just don't get it!
And when my 3 year old cried or fusses so does my 1 year old, and it takes a long time to calm him down. |
oh wow. i don't envy you... *hugs*
i kinda remember potty training days... but my daughters are 14 and 18.... |
Must be nice, I hear girls are easy to potty train. I have given up, I just don't know what to do. We have tried everything, other than the whole no bottoms letting them go where ever method, which is just gross! I don't let my pets on in the floor and i damn sure ain't letting my kid!!
I guess I just have to wait it out. But NO not doing this with the other!! |
