All those commons and their candies are good for Lucky Eggs, though. When she has a good amount of balls, we catch Ratata and Pidgey and the like for Lucky Eggs, she hasn't used one yet but she has four I think?

Went to the bar today, they had a pokestop, but my phone was also almost dead, so I only got it a few times =( |
We've used lures, but never a lucky egg. All those Venonats she keeps catching might be good for it. She wants to use her lure this weekend, if the weather lets us.

I got a Growlithe! had my phone on while I was out doing errands. Too many balls an a couple berries to get him; not worth the resources, but don't care! I was at the local art supply store and forgot I was playing. When I checked my phone to see if it was still running and there was a Growlithe standing next to me. Lucky check! The teller was very understanding. ;)

I found mine while sat in a Yo! Sushi restaurant ^_^;; Both me and my partner super lucked out this evening while out though and both managed to catch a wild Gyarados!

Yeah, we were really shocked when we came across it! There were a collection of 4 stops close together all with lures on, so that must have been why it turned up ^_^;;

This is certainly not a desert, but they have been sighted by the shore here, so may they drop in some spaces here or there just because. I was in a store at the time. He would have been in the store as well, judging by proximity. The first Growlithe I saw on radar was at my sister's place at 4am and she lives near a creek. There are often water pokemon around her place and my brother's.

Man, last night was pretty good! My sister wasn't sure about going to stops last night, but I talked her into it. She caught her first Diglett, her first Vulpix, and her 10km egg hatched into a Dratini!

"Desert" was a little bit hyperbole on my part. The closest desert from here is on the other side of the mountains. But it IS a hot, dry region, and Pokemon Go pays attention to real-world biome things like that.

We're close to Florida, but not a very hot dry region. Hot, humid region yes.
