Demonskid 04-27-2017 04:57 PM

over bandwidth use causes the site to go down but they do get them back up as fast as possible.

Kaderin Triste 04-27-2017 05:01 PM

I need more rainbow animals!
XD

Demon: Ah. That makes sense.

Demonskid 04-27-2017 05:10 PM

I use to use this other site but I think it closed down. That's when I found this one. >w< dk is happy with this one. Despite the hiccup..

mdom 04-27-2017 06:11 PM

What other animal do you want? xD

Kaderin Triste 04-27-2017 06:20 PM

I want a big snake!

Demonskid 04-27-2017 06:39 PM

They found a 12ft python here at my apartment complex ono

Fulkth 04-27-2017 09:37 PM

Wow that is one big snake. Can you even own exotic pets in an apartment complex. Usually they just allow cats and dogs...

Kaderin Triste 04-27-2017 10:45 PM

I think it depends on where you live and the landlord. A lot of apartments here are necoming "no pets" or "dogs negotiable". Ehich really sucks.

Demonskid 04-27-2017 11:08 PM

We think the snake was the reason they got kicked out >->,

They allow pets here.. suppose to be 1 pet per household/apartment but if you have a note for health reasons you get a 'companion' pet and a house pet.. if 2 people each have a note (i need to get one to keep kuromi) its 2 companion pets and 1 house pet

if you have a fish tank.. your only allowed 1 FISH! like wtf!? D:< no hamsters .. and if it is an exotic pet, (like chinchilla or python) you have to do something to see if it is allowed..

Dogs have to be the small dog type.. so when it comes to their python.. a snake that big was a no no >->,

Most places around here say no pets or just 1...

Kaderin Triste 04-27-2017 11:17 PM

Okay that fish rule is so dumb! But in general 1 pet per apartment isn't a bad rule...but still sucks.
My complex switched to a "no pets" apartment complex December 2015, but I had my cats prior to that, so I can keep them, I just can't get any other pets.
But I think that small fish like a Betta or Goldfish are probably fine as long as they aren't in some giant tank.

Demonskid 04-27-2017 11:25 PM

I think each state should make a 'pet' amount.. like what you can own legally before it becomes a hoarding thing.. when I was little i didn't know any better and called ALL the 'free to good home' kitten/cat ads >w>, ended up with 28.. never again.

I love my kitties.. zeke is more of moms baby though.. he prefers her..

-stares at sparx's zoo- >w>, she has like 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 turtles, and 2 bunnies.. x'D

Kaderin Triste 04-27-2017 11:37 PM

Oh my gosh that's a lot of cats! I think I would max out at 3.
I would say that pet allowances would have to vary based on where a person lived too. Because for an apartment, Sparx's zoo is a lot, but for a big house with a yard or a place in the country is wouldn't be so bad.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:13 AM

I think in general having pets in an apartment isn't such a good idea.

Unless it's fish. or a qtqt turtle. Or a cat that likes jumping walls xD long as you're not too high up.

Kaderin Triste 04-28-2017 12:19 AM

I have 2 cats in a 3rd floor apartment. Not sure what you mean by jumping walls, but other than occasionally picking at the screens on the windows (usually trying to get at a bug on the other side) they are fine.

daikokunyo 04-28-2017 12:20 AM

I've also heard of a distinction like outdoor cats and indoor cats, I guess they aren't raring to go out much?
