Lawtan 01-02-2014 02:20 AM

I'll try to continue Kadia's Kamikaze, then.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-02-2014 02:22 AM

Oh god, massive fail on my part, I COMPLETELY forgot about their umbilical cords. They're all still umbilically attached to Sin and drawing off her lifeforce. They can't be hurt until those are severed.

Sorry, completely slipped my mind.

Gallagher 01-02-2014 02:26 AM

I am glad to know this.

Y'know. For all the hardcore super epic battling fishboy is about to be part of.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-02-2014 02:27 AM

Crush. Them.

Espy 01-02-2014 02:34 AM

Good to know Dante's finally not at a disadvantage.

EDIT: Wait. Can telepathy and telekinesis still be used to "feel" things?

Lawtan 01-02-2014 02:48 AM

I...don't think so. *Is glad Kadia is on an insane roll of destruction already*

Dante has some time to pick his weapons...unless Suze says otherwise.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-02-2014 02:55 AM

We should all *technically* we completely shut down by sensory deprivation, but I'm not going to enforce that since it's pretty damned harsh. (If this was my old DnD group on the other hand...)

Quiet Man Cometh 01-02-2014 03:00 AM

Well, this is dramatic. So what are the darkness' limitations right now?

Suzerain of Sheol 01-02-2014 03:04 AM

At the least, blindess. Further sensory loss depending on how mean you want to be to your character.

I wonder how Na'lsa is taking this....

Lawtan 01-02-2014 03:16 AM

Oh...what happens if they bite you...
The Balance you are putting me in these creature's jaws! Rurik, sick 'em!
Locating target...
*Writer runs*

Quiet Man Cometh 01-02-2014 03:19 AM

Yes, the biting thing too. Anything else besides the non-healing while the hound lives, bit?

Suzerain of Sheol 01-02-2014 03:20 AM

Well, just that it will do catastrophic damage. They could have torn Thomas in half, titanium skeleton and all. They're freakishly strong.

Gallagher 01-02-2014 03:23 AM

So. If possible. Play dead and hope for the best.

Pooing yourself might help.

Lawtan 01-02-2014 03:25 AM

...
*gave me an idea for over-the-top...ness...*

Gallagher 01-02-2014 03:25 AM

[DEATH POO INTENSIFIES]

Lawtan 01-02-2014 03:40 AM

The recent events seemed to remind me of this song/old ballad, for some reason

Espy 01-02-2014 04:14 AM

I mean, I feel like I shouldn't be too sadistic towards Dante but his telekinesis is newbie-leveled and couldn't do jack shit if blocked.

Lawtan 01-02-2014 05:12 AM

Make it so telekinesis is blind feeling, but auras are not, so he can try to move things based on that?

Gallagher 01-02-2014 05:25 AM

My brain says that everything should be gone. No regular senses, no touch, no balance, no self positioning, no auras, no nothing. Buuuuutttttttt I guess that would make this scene a little too difficult for everyone to play. So.

Espy 01-02-2014 05:27 AM

Basically that would throw all of them into the state Dante's soul was in while he was being deadsauce.

Lawtan 01-02-2014 05:32 AM

*Will post an hour after I wake up*

Gallagher 01-02-2014 05:37 AM

Espy, that's still rather optimistic compared to what I was imagining, lol. I'm a horrible person.

Lawtan 01-02-2014 05:43 AM

Umm...Galla may be talking along the lines of some of the nightmares I have... (Give me Xenomorphs any day to that)

Quiet Man Cometh 01-03-2014 06:34 AM

Post not proofread. Too late and too lazy. Yeah.

Lawtan 01-05-2014 01:09 PM

Hmm...does anyone mind Rurik poisoning the hounds connected to Sin, while Kadia attacks 3 with a pair of tornadoes? Oh, and cutting through a group of umbilical chords...
Sounds like too much to me, but I am unaware of what it will take for us to win/survive...

Espy 01-05-2014 03:33 PM

I uh. I don't think they can be poisoned. I mean, I don't think they're completely physical entities.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-05-2014 03:36 PM

Well.

No one is "winning" here. Sin is an idealistic entity, she'll endure as long as there is sin in creation.

On your points, there's no such thing as "too much" here, but you do need to justify why and how she's doing that. I will not have these hounds sold short.

I am quite sure they're immune to poison, though.

And cutting the cords would be ideal, yes. As the hounds actually *can* be killed with enough applied force.

You do need to justify how she's not utterly crippled by sensory deprivation, though, too.

But.

I must stress this.

For everyone.

Because this is important.

We are in a confined room, and there are multiple thermobaric missiles about to explode in our vicinity.

For reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dW1qkBg8sM

This is a problem for us. Defensive measures should be very much in order.

We are in serious trouble if someone doesn't come up with some kind of shielding. (I wouldn't even be opposed to shooting down the missiles midflight, Diogenes really doesn't care about everyone's lives at this point. This is all-out war as far as he's concerned. People might understandably have a problem with that.) I guess I could always have Sin disintegrate them or something. She probably doesn't really want her hounds to get vaporized.

BUT IF ANYONE HAS ANY OTHER IDEAS....

Espy 01-05-2014 03:42 PM

Dante can't do anything, and Diogenes doesn't care. Sacrificing Rurik COULD possible make for some sort of shielding but I don't think Law and Kadia would be particularly happy with that -- it'd hurt Kadia in a very major way, too. At this point, Nalsa's probably the only one strong enough the stop them or provide some sort of shield.

If it's possible to dig their way underground or run to the chapel which isn't real and go down that way while not dying in the process, that'd be ideal, buuuuuut.

Espy 01-05-2014 03:46 PM

(Also was my post okay.)

Suzerain of Sheol 01-05-2014 03:54 PM

Yeah, it was fine Espy.

And maybe everyone should beg Tarja to telekinese something. :P

Suzerain of Sheol 01-05-2014 03:56 PM

Also, it's not impossible to think that Zaccheus might resurrect us, since we did do this mission to essentially the best of out ability and discovered a major demon in the process.

Espy 01-05-2014 04:07 PM

I don't wanna die again.

What would resurrection entail? Like, you can't really teleport the bodies straight to Thyatira, and soldiers would have to go into the wreckage to retrieve them.

Actually, there wouldn't even be bodies left, and I'm pretty sure Zaccheus wouldn't be able to reach the lot of us in time to pull the souls back.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-05-2014 04:15 PM

He can himself actually teleport, if need be. But that might be more useful in saving us in the first place. I just hate to bring in a deus ex machina like that.

Gallagher 01-05-2014 06:27 PM

I'm about 98% sure terrible things will happen if fishboy is brought back after death. So. Not death would be nice.

Espy 01-05-2014 06:29 PM

would he turn into sashimi boy

Gallagher 01-05-2014 06:36 PM

Uhm. Well. He might kill everyone all over again. So.

Lawtan 01-05-2014 08:23 PM

*Is laughing to death*
Well...Kadia is in insane mode...so...Hmm...
Also...tearing apart Rurik would be bad...Na'lsa + Kadia powers + complete insanity bad...
Where are these explosives again? Nearby? Could someone make a fire tornado?
And would Sin make a deal to save mutual hides?

Espy 01-05-2014 09:18 PM

Someone could make a fire tornado, yes. But that probably isn't enough to detonate them mid-air, or not big enough to be able to reach the bombs anyhow before they're too close.

Redirecting them seems more plausible.

Gallagher 01-05-2014 10:11 PM

I really don't think Sin would make a deal like that when we'd be the only ones that end up dead either way.

Espy 01-05-2014 10:16 PM

Well, she probably doesn't want to lose her hellhounds.
