Oh my, everyone is so quiet.

My shoes, currently, are sneakers, thick, toasty warm house shoes, a pair or under armour sandals. Thats it. The other 20 (+/-) pairs are in storage.

Its unlikely i would wear most of them very often, i do wear them now and again. But some i need now, like my western and winter boots. Which i wish weren't still boxed away. x.x

How is everyone doing?

trystan830 01-19-2017 03:12 PM

Spiderlillie! hihi!

i'm doing pretty well, actually!

i'm living in my boots for the winter, but that's normal. =)

Spiderlillie 01-19-2017 03:23 PM

Hi Trystan!! Hah, i envy you your warm feet in boots, lol! :P i miss my sweater boots right now. With neuropathy in my feet (and hands), those are warm and hurt nothing on rainy, soppy days like today. I really miss my wrangler boots too for when i have to go out to do anything.

trystan830 01-19-2017 03:27 PM

oh that doesn't sound like fun at all. :(

*hugs*

Spiderlillie 01-19-2017 03:50 PM

*hugs back* its not fun, nope. Especially in the case of trying to keep a hold of a cup of hot coffee, hehe.

But, it also makes for some laughs. Imagine the hand neuropathy kicks in while i'm trying to write something, the pen goes spinning in all directions, me trying to grab at it with my senseless paws, and it just keeps bouncing off my fingers, finally ends up zinging down my blouse, or point first into my mashed potatoes like a javelin. :P

Just gotta laugh at life sometimes, or else cry. I'd much rather find the humor in life's little absurdities, lol.

Tam I am 01-19-2017 03:55 PM

Yes. I prefer laughing to crying. But it seems like write now all I can do is whine. Oh, and cough and pee my pants.

trystan830 01-19-2017 03:57 PM

yeah, i can definitely see the laughing over crying about stuff.

and i thought my klutzie moments were bad....

Spiderlillie 01-19-2017 04:00 PM

*hugs Tam* its gets better sweety. But don't feel like the lone mohican there; i swear all this week has been made up of mondays. Every stinking day, lol. A lady and i were talking about this very thing yesterday when i was out on errands. Both of us were sharing how we've both had a solid week of mondays, lol. A cuppa coffee helped as we did our paperwork, and whined right along with yas. ;)

Trystan... you have no idea. x.x i can be a walking pratfall some days or weeks on end. Lucile Ball, right here in living color! XD

trystan830 01-19-2017 06:21 PM

yikes!

i'll send good thoughts out into the ether for you!

Tam I am 01-19-2017 09:50 PM

I thought I was over the flu enough to be able to walk downtown and buy my belly medicine.

And then I had to call and ask my brother to rescue me, because I couldn't make it back!

Oops. I forgot to take the ibuprofen. *shakes head at self*

BUT! I have the belly medicine! Supper stayed where it's supposed to! Also, my poor avatar finally has PJs to be comfy in. Funny looking ones, but they're PJs!

Spiderlillie 01-21-2017 09:24 PM

Awww Tam! Flu is rough everywhere this year. Ive had it badly enough to feel just as you describe. I sure hope you get over it soon! And i am glad you now have your belly medicine. :)

Hehe, sometimes i forget my ibuprophen also, bad day for me everytime. I keep some in my purse because i have been caught out without any before, and hours yet before i can get back home. I hope everything is back to normal soon for you. *hugs*

PJs sound cozy! Hehe, even virtual pjs. :)

Tam I am 01-21-2017 10:03 PM

My brother says that too, and I believe it. I NEVER get the flu. But this time I not only got it, but I was crazy for two days because of the fever. I haven't had a fever like that since the chicken pox in my twenties.

I keep a bottle in my purse too. And during the past week the bigger bottle's been sitting on the desk beside me. I just wish I was better able to remember when I took it!

LOL Dressing the avatar dolls helps me feel comfortable. I was so loopy during the flu that I decided to play that this avatar and the one on KofK had flu also.

withoutwords 01-21-2017 10:13 PM

Dressing my avatars tends to make me pretty happy, too. That's why I have so many.

Spiderlillie 01-21-2017 11:27 PM

:) Its fully understandable! Dressing my avatar helps distract me from my various pain problems, and for sure when the neuropathy is driving me insane. So i do understand Tam. *hugs*

Oooh my, now that kind of flu symptom sounds like us just a couple of months ago. I was definitely not in my head with that fever either. I dont think either of us here were. There are sure some strange bugs going around lately!

Im glad you're on the mend!

Tam I am 01-22-2017 03:50 PM

Dolls with a big wardrobe that you can't lose and that doesn't cost much? Ysplz. LOL

Indeeeeeeed. Me too.

Hey, Lilly, would you like a pretty dress for your avatar?

Witchchylde 01-25-2017 06:56 PM

I am sorely tempted to spend the money on a Nintendo DS game I got on demo a few days ago, it's "Style Savvy Fashion Forward" and it's such an awesome living doll kind of game! Way better than the stupid SIMS, for sure. Giving makeovers and all kinds of fun dress up stuff! But, it's a lot of money for me to spend. My SSI is less than $500 a month after all.

withoutwords 01-25-2017 07:04 PM

I looked it up, and it does look like a great game, but yikes that price tag. I feel your dilemma there. I think I'll be content with DollDivine. o.o

Coda 01-25-2017 07:49 PM

Maybe pick up one of the earlier games in the series. They're bound to be cheaper.

Tam I am 01-28-2017 05:03 PM

It reminds me of a game that I played on FB back when I still went on FB. That game wasn't animated though.

withoutwords 01-28-2017 05:08 PM

There are a lot of games in that vein on FB. Unfortunately, most of them rely on having friends and/or a lot of irl cash to progress. Needless to say, I didn't get all that far with most of them.

Tam I am 01-28-2017 05:18 PM

Yeah. This one got taken down before I hit the paywall.

I wonder if there are any others off FB that have that theme?

withoutwords 01-28-2017 05:30 PM

Let me know if you find any; I'd certainly be interested in giving them a try.

Tam I am 01-29-2017 05:36 PM

Here's an interesting review of it. It looks as though it might be worth saving up for, for people who like this kind of game.

Other than that... initial scans indicate there aren't any others like it outside its series.
