@Aur, I understand his view point and it was actually a villian I really liked who said to kill all the weak and hungry, those who are starving and will die that way, we spare them misery and make life better for the remaining.

And the Joker is fantastic because he is insane, smart, plus he doesn't think like the average human and leaves almost all the normal people guessing. Also he works with knives not guns like most villians prefer but honest knives.

I guess I see some anestetic qualities of knives but I like it when a villian uses them because it scream "This is personal!" Powerfull and close quarters, these won't be the villians who back down from a fight, they love a fight and crave blood and others pain.
