Holy shit, I want to finish Pan's Labyrinth (started it in class), yet really, really don't want to...

holy crap, that is one freaky movie.

So I've heard. Not what I expected when people told me what the basic premise behind the film was, but I'm thinking it was a good thing to know that ahead of time. I'll still plan on watching it, but it's not on the top of my list at the moment.

But then, watching movies in general is never on the top of my list of things to do.

What were you expecting? I thought it was just a fantasy-genre, no horror and gore and history included, hence the puzzlement at the R rating...

Something along the lines of Burton'esque Alice in Wonderland, or Howl's Moving Castle. Then I heard it took place during a war or something like that with some heavy backdrop going on which has definately shifted things. Not sure what I'm really expecting now except something a lot darker and more strange.

Anyway, bed now. Work in the morning.

That's exactly my problem! I was thinking to grow my hair out to maybe chin-length, but while the back is about that long, my sides are only about to the bottom of my ears.
