That's why I haven't cosplayed up until now; people aren't tempted to randomly come up and glomp me.

There should be a ask before glomping rule.

I just end up helping a lot of people because I'm staff or volunteer and goodness some peoples children.

At some of the cons down here, there are... some people just don't pay attention to that rule, though... it's annoying.

....I don't get sick. Maybe twice a year.

I'm pretty good at dodging most of the little illnesses around, even though my immune systems is suppressed all the time (kidney transplant). Part if it I think is my immune system is really good, (even when squished) and build-up from 15 years of flu shots.

Learned one thing though the last time I was really sick. Tiny cold plus plane ride equals uber cold from hell.


My adivce Rem, get on the bed and stay there. Emerge as needed for sustenance.

I've got 2, count'em two photos for the scavenger hunt, and part of me still wants to do one because I can't make up my damn mind when it comes to what represents what. I'm only doing part of it though. We have piles of birds here but they seem to be more fond of the lawn then the man made stuff around here. Putting something in the feeder might help.

Should the bird land on the house...or the driveway... perhaps flit across the sidewalk or road...that would count as well, no? <.<

I'm not good at contests, so I have not even tried looking at the event contests so far.

They seem pretty alright, actually. General fun and shenanigans without anything difficult to do.

At least try for the baseless avatar contest. That one's fun, and you get anka tokens for just entering so it's not like you have to win. I usually just participate for the tokens since achievements are fewer and farther between at times.

Bird here don't usually land on the cement. There's no bugs in it. I could stalk the backyward and wait for a robin or crow to perch on the fence or something. We have too many darn trees around for them to care about manmade stuff.

I'll just wait next to the feeder for the chickadees. ;)

I'm pretty much just doing the wild card section for fun, rather than the whole thing. Still can't decide on what to do for what though. Some seem too obscure, and others feel like cheating. (I have a card that says "Peace" on it.)

It's part of a set that always has one that reads "joy." I did use them, but retook the pictures with something else. Felt less cheesy and a titch more creative that way.
