Not that I can think of. Except maybe fuel? Make sure it has either a solar powered engine or a theurgic engine.
I wouldn't expect there to be many usable gas powered vehicles anymore. I'd prefer solar power if only because Jeanne would probably end up too tired if we had a theurgic one.
Also, Fee's totally okay with driving as long as no one minds that she's entirely self taught as of...the current day XD |
I'm pretty sure that michael would know how to drive a car, or at least be smart enough to look up a manual and learn it quick. I say that he will as well as erm...I geuss someone else. XP

The engine would most likely be diesel, which is best in our case. It can run off anything from gasoline to vodka. And solar power is going to be hard to wrangle for such a vehicle. That, and having to search for fuel is great, adds a bit more of that desperate feel to the role play that makes it show how apocalyptic things are. Fuel searching is like, half of any post apoc story. And an APC would be a hungry beast.
So Salone...you argue FOR the APC but the reasons you give would make Fee want to pick something else XP
Well, military vehicles aren't too focused on fuel efficiency. Given that the apocalypse happened, I'm not sure how many resources were shoved in to developing fuel efficient/alternate energy vehicles. But an APC is the lovechild of a tank and a humvee, and able to carry anything that both can. And generally, they come mounted with guns big enough to repel everything but actual tanks. Besides, a diesel engine? You could put anything in there, so long as its combustible.
Alright, that's more of a compelling argument XD I'll go edit in a bit.
Well, in that case, someone should probably move us ahead.
Did Rue and Lev leave the group again? Maybe one of the others can try and convince them that it's in their best interest to stay together? |
Preferably someone Rue actually likes a little :p As for what's next, I think we should actively search for the Wrath Swords, or at least have Jeanne sense them as we're driving. And then, off to new daring adventures at the seven churches?
Oh right, you wanted a list of new equipment: Weapon-grade laser Cronostatic grenade x3 Dispersion grenade x5 PPsh-41 submachinegun with 6 magazines of obliteration rounds |
That sounds like a good plan to me. Once we find the swords, Jeanne might want to pester Rue for lessons, lest she end up chopping one of us in half by accident. :p
And, I'll edit that list into your character summary. If everyone else could do something similar for me, that would be great. |
Speaking of weapon lists....there was one thing that I was gonna give Dante, then forgot to...
....Can't remember what it was. Got a question with regards to the grenades...How're you gonna toss the chronostatic 100 ft? Anyways...Dante's equip add-ons: Fuuma shuriken Bichawa x2 Flashbang x10 Compound bow EDIT: I remember what it was now...a really long chain. Ah well, I'll just use the one he has already...though it's not as long as I'd like it to be. The shuriken can be disassembled into four blades...or two double-sided ones. And it's about three feet wide (1.5 ft radius...) Don't know exactly how many quivers/arrows he has...Maybe I'll say he found silver bullets there too. Hm...looks like he's pretty loaded, offensive-wise. Defensive...eh...he'll probably die if he's assaulted by psychics. |
Better ask for an RPG-7 with the grenades, too. :p
And that looks good, Espy, I'll add it in. |
-rubs hands together evilly- Dante uses pretty any fighting style that I can pull off the top of my head, besides brute strength...
...and being me, I can think of a LOT of stuff...Shuriken + chains will be fun as heck~ |
Espy, I was planning on having Fee use telekinesis to throw grenades. She can hardly even carry all her stuff, I can't imagine her being able to fire an RPG even if she got some training.
Pfft...hahaha. You're probably right. Also, are Fee, Rue, and Michael (and maybe Shealtiel?) able to use telepathy to send images to people's minds? Or have them see what they see?
That's a good idea. I'm actually kind of surprised you didn't want more telekinesis-friendly weapons for her. Rue, either.
I'm not even sure what else would be telekinesis friendly. She has control but not power which is perfect for grenades. Knives, etc. would need some power behind them and Fee just doesn't have that. And from what I remember Rue doesn't know how to use telekinesis.
Espy, I would think that would be possible? Fee can't do that but I'd bet Rue can. Not sure about Michael. |
Oh, I see. Well, maybe we'll run into another psychic who specializes in such things. :p
I was planning on having Fee practice with rocks while she wasn't driving. Perhaps after the next big encounter she'll be able to learn how to apply power and not just precision.

Funk, do you have any items I need to add in? Let me know. I'm going to wait until everyone gets back to me to update the post.
Items:
Thermal Insulation Gear, Purification Filter, Succor Capsules (1 pack of 30), Interdiction Badge (wrist), Weapon Grade Incendiary Laser, Transrespiration Implant, Courage Capsule (4 left), Other (rarity 0?): Rucksack, Canteen, 3 day’s worth of plain rations, clothes, journal I think the only things that changed were underlined. I feel that nothing really changed with my character |
Ah, right, you just replaced your interdiction badge with a working one at the armory, right? That's easy. Thanks.
No problem. By the way, for Feenai, poison would work becuase a small scrath or an injection of some sort doesn't require that much power.
Oh, if we're adding simple items to the list, Rue did go out and buy a bunch of supplies and a bag to hold them all in. Mostly packets of dried food and other little objects, the only one of which I've actually thought out is a sharpening stone for her sword.
Also, sorry I haven't been posting, like... at all. I've been busy and stressed out with packing and practicing driving. I probably won't have internet soon either, for a couple days or so. |
This recent lull has given me a chance to paint some of my Talisman figures. What's everyone up to?
Sorry, I've been kind of preoccupied with the event going on here.
I'm kind of waiting for someone to move us out of the city, anyway. We're pretty much ready, I think. |
This APC...does it have any mounted guns? Is it treaded or tired? Need to know if it has harassment capability, or if it's a turtle and we must expel forth from it to defend ourselves.
You can go ahead and decide.
I like the idea of no guns on it. Again, that feeling of desperation is what I strive for in the wastes. But, I'm not the one who requisitioned it. Although I totally vote that it is painted in a flat olive green!
I doubt Serra will mind one way or the other. As you like. No guns, olive green.
Woohoo. We will then proceed to have misadventures in said APC, where we are tried and tested by various shadows from our pasts and an uncertain future. We'll laugh together, cry together, even bleed together. We'll be cancelled after 10 episodes though, although we'll later release a box set containing the 3 unreleased episodes. We'll also make a movie named after our APC, which was meant to tie up the series, but just didn't do us justice.
Sounds good to me, gorramnit.
-giggles- Salone, I love the way you think XD
Aww, shucks. Thanks.
So we have a camo-colored APC with no gun mounts! And I'm not sure when we will move forward again.
Heh, no one wants to move us ahead, do they? Maybe I'll make an official post moving us out, then, if no one has any objections.
Oh, and nice gunblade, Salone. :D |
Well, there's a post from Jeanne, but it doesn't really move the plot. xD
1.) I took some liberty with the motorcycle >.>
