Well... I can say that I can see some manga-ish core to the picture, the problem to refering to something as manga is that the term is too broad. I've heard people call the mona lisa a manga picture.

I know right. On top of that various artists all have their own styles. I have seen pictures in manga that I've thought were black and white photos, and I've seen One-piece... which is pretty far from photo-realistic.

I'm still trying to lean even more towards realistic. Not realism, but realistic.

what I'm saying is ignore people when they mention how manga-ish your artwork is.
Though most people tend to call something manga-ish due to how the eyes are drawn.

My dad called it manga and told me to make my own style, which he wants to be simple and easy to draw.

...Erm. Excuse me. This is my style. I don't do simple things in the first place because my hand is unsteady and hence I need multiple sketchy lines. Why do people (including my dad and art teacher) not get that an unsteady hand it not easily remedied...

i mean.. there is no your style.. things look like other things and are categorized as stuff...
