well you can always recycle them when you're done, most stores have a cardboard dumpster you can use...if you're stealthy

and beleive it or not, if you go and ask for liquid transport boxes at a grocery store, they'll be made of cardboard,b ut can move 4-8 gallon sized containers at a time, they're really the best for books.

Still, if we have boxes I don't wanna go on a hunt somewhere else to find some decent ones or buy some at work. Although if we're gonna throw out some tomorrow I might bother to take it home. ~shrug~
