I actually started off at a community college. but, that'll cost money that after I finish my master's degree, I won't have since I'll hopefully also be living with my fiance. ^^"

Oh o.o;; CCs around my hometown are basically free for area residents.

Serena Yuy 01-25-2014 02:04 AM

Yeah, not where I am. Yeah it's relatively cheap because I did my first 2 years at one at the cost of 1 year on my Undergrad school, but it is still a bit expensive.
1 course maybe ok since it would only probably be around 500 for the one course. But, that would be something I would do later on since I have all my loans to pay off and then life. :D
That or I could look into auditing if it came to it. ^^

I started at Community College as well. Man ~ I messed around in my youth.

Serena Yuy 01-25-2014 02:28 AM

Yeah, I did the Community College thing first. ^^" Then I moved onto finish the 4yr and now where I am now wanting to pull my hair out sometimes. But, hopefully it's all worth it. I'm kind of annoyed at having to put my life on hold and what I want to do because I decided to stay in school. :/

Fauxreal 01-25-2014 02:32 AM

I messed around so much in college... I loved it.

Serena Yuy 01-25-2014 02:36 AM

I miss how things were back when I was an undergrad. I was able to deal with stuff, I understood things. I also was active in campus activities because of groups I belonged in. Now, I just don't have the time or actually now the ability to be involved in stuff. Which is kind of sad. but, I can figure stuff out somehow. I don't know.

Fauxreal 01-25-2014 03:01 AM

It's because you are awesome.

Also I wish I could go dancing as much as I did back then.

Omg, looking back on it. I can't believe how much I could drink then. Now I can't even make it past a couple drinks or I end up with a headache that night, or the next morning feeling like death.

Lawtan 01-25-2014 08:59 AM

Community colleges..free? *Looks at Espy as if they're growing a second head*

Serena Yuy 01-25-2014 12:23 PM

Well, some are pretty cheap. It is a cheap way to take a class sometimes.

Fauxreal 01-25-2014 02:20 PM

They are cheap. less than half the price of regular college usually. :)

AND damn... yup I could drink... wow.

Serena Yuy 01-25-2014 02:38 PM

lol yeah! now since I'm 26, I really can't. o.o I used to be able to. Now I wake up feeling like crap unless I drink a crap ton of water while I am drinking the alcohol. That and I can't handle certain foods. O.o

Yeah, which is why I am glad I took courses at the CC for my first 2 years so I could save the money. 2 years there cost the price of 1 year at the traditional college.

Fauxreal 01-25-2014 03:05 PM

As did I Serena. :) It's a better investment.

Lawtan 01-25-2014 04:17 PM

Are we talking about getting drunk? *Is confused*
