I sold my entire inventory on Gaia. I'm not worried about missing stuff there either. Gizzie just mentioned something I dont recall.

Oh, yeah. They did make it so you could have a human or an animal type avie.

I don't know when the implemented it. I don't even remember when I stopped actively checking there.

I was never 'into' gaia really, but I liked playing their games, like blackjack and jigsaw xDDD

It was one of the first sites I joined.
I really love the zOMG game.

Gaia was actually my first avatar site. I mostly hung out in the art forums and made friends with artists so I could get cheap and free art...

Gaia was one of my first avatar sites, way back in 2007-2010...ish.

I got overwhelmed on that site, and then I got mad because even when I set the settings to not send me anything, I kept getting emails about events and new DI releases and stuff. Finally yelled at someone and got my whole account deleted.

I think Gaia started out decent, but it quickly became a shit-show. I didn't post often in the forums because even back in 2006, people were assholes and got away with it. And the constant announcement notifications over insignificant stuff was pretty annoying. They had some nice items though.

I get emails from Ava if someone sends me a pm, but otherwise I have my email notifications turned off on all my sites. Either because I gave up on them or, like with Trisphee since I frequent it almost daily so I don't need them.
