<U<; *has supplies leftover from when I made a big cardboard gingerbread house for my grandma 7 years ago...*

littl3chocobo 11-29-2019 12:28 AM

oh man, how dense is the fluting? i could use some sturdy cardboard

Merskelly Metalien 11-29-2019 12:31 AM

Oh my bad. <x'} Did I say carboard? I meant Styrofoam..oops. I forgot I used the carboard only for the bottom where I set the house ontop of. :/

littl3chocobo 11-29-2019 12:34 AM

fair, fair. cannot use that though, one of the kitties likes to gnaw on the stuff XD

Merskelly Metalien 11-29-2019 12:52 AM

OhhNOOOOO! D,X
Kitty that's not for eating!!

Though when I was a little kid, I used to chew on lots of things I shouldn't have been chewing on. >u>; Like erasers, the metal around the erasers on a pencil, the pencil, paper, plastic straws, plastic foam cups, my nails, and that's the limit of what I'm comfortable admitting. >w>;

I agree that collecting supplies really is a hobby in and of itself. Hunting all the neat things is pretty fun. Hand tools, even if you don't have a use for them, can be addictive.

Maybe you're secretly a robot and need the nutrients from metal and plastics that you can't get from human foods.

Merskelly Metalien 11-29-2019 01:01 AM

<w<; I thought so too, until I found my hunger yet unsatisfied by loose-leaf and stickers...and electric cords. :/
<:\ Unfortunately I am organic and need organic sustenance to function.

littl3chocobo 11-29-2019 11:17 AM

dude, i've got bad pica x''D i used to chew on one of those cut crystal balls that come on the end of fancy windchimes and i only recently stopped my ice chewing rampage

Merskelly Metalien 11-29-2019 04:54 PM

:D haha, I used to keep marbles in my mouth sometimes. <xP Gross what I recall doing as a kid hehe.

littl3chocobo 11-29-2019 05:39 PM

i assume you didn't wash them before sticking them in? XD

Mekatra 11-29-2019 08:16 PM

I used to chew holes in the collars of my shirts and would eat entire sheets of paper over the course of a school day.

Actually I still eat paper when I'm concentrating.

Merskelly Metalien 11-30-2019 02:33 AM

@chocobo: <u<; yehh...by the time I could figure out what looked clean, I wasn't stickin' marbles in my mouth anymore.

@mekatra: It's rare for me, but I too nibble on some of my notebook paper! >u<;
Mostly if I'm really hungry or frustrated with the class material. :/

littl3chocobo 11-30-2019 05:27 AM

chewing gum seems like an ideal thing for us XD

Mekatra 11-30-2019 03:23 PM

Chewing gum is for quitters. I will be chewing rocks and glass until this behaviour stops on its own.

Merskelly Metalien 11-30-2019 05:42 PM

I can't chew gum anymore. <u<; It makes my stomach sick and my throat scratchy and dry...used to chew it every day tho from the end of high school into first college semster. :/
Now I just chew the inside of my cheek. <x<;
