sorry i disappeared earlier - we get a lot of thunderstorms this time of year so i had to protect my electronic babies. o.o;;

I've never had thunderstorms... or at least serious ones. We have had some wicked lighting light up the sky some months ago o.o;;

i nearly doodled myself when i experienced my first storm ten years ago. my home town doesn't get them, just a little sheet lightning and some rain. but they're pretty exciting aside from the obvious damage risk for my babies.

ouch!

so far, we've only lost one router, but it killed our fax AND our phone in the process. replacing the router was easy, getting the phone company to re-lay our lines was not xD
