why not 'they' and why not reflexively use 'the captain' or better just not use self-referencing second-person?

why did you have her remove her helm? that is a very easy way to get hurt and /fast/ your apponent has a long-reaching weapon that is shaped perfectly for hooking and slicing, all she has to do is start above your head and pull down and towards herself
