|
*flops in*
Ugh...so sleepy....having to work early sucks. XP |
early... x-x i hate early
|
Well...it was either switch shifts and have to be awake by 8:30 for work or walk home after work in -20something degree weather.
XP Neither option was good. |
x-x yea.. they both sound terrible
|
At least working early, I have all evening to work on presents.
|
-tries to sew hole in thread back together but has terrible sewing skills-
This is a lot harder then making dance bras.... Hello Law =D today was ok, we got over half an order done that's supposed to go out tuesday so we don't have to work this weekend for once =D I'm excited I'm about to put on some tunes and art out though |
Oh! I am going to be writing through the night. :D
...and if I can be confident enough, arting as well... And oh! *Makes a few connections, and then starts binding the thread together, like a book* *Heats Tea for DK and SparX* Hi, Kaderin! |
*throws away scissors in hand a few feet away*
The thread should heal some time...should it? |
I drew something really nice
and now I've ruined it by coloring it but instead of painting it like I usually would I'm trying (again) melted crayon style Last time I sold a piece was that style and I got $50 :0 I was super excited but I forgot how much hatred for yourself it takes .-. Burning your fingers with the heat gun and melted crayon.... heat gun to high on flow and blowing color dots everywhere accidentally.... It's a wreck. BUT I shall make something of it! -tries to be positive- |
*gulp* Burning fingers.
But melted crayon sounds really cool :o! |
It SLIGHTLY gives the impression like someones slabbed on paint if you do it in chunks to mimic those fancy painters (who can afford to waste their paints in large globs) but is also a more matte look, which can be fixed with a glossy top coat of setting/finishing spray.
Lot cheaper then paint too, minus the heat gun. Using a hair dryer is usually suggested, but much less controlled. AND it has WAAAAAAY more force and blasts things EVERYWHERE. I was cleaning the couch in front of my station for weeks. |
*searches up a video*
Wow, the crayon melting looks really amazing :o. I didn't get to see a hair dryer for melting, but I did get to see it when someone was painting using brushes and crayons! |

theres one with 3 different ways (including a hot glue gun) and this cute heart one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nqo0Y98xZXI BUT I never leave my crayons on the canvas. nor do I glue them on ever >.> |
The hot glue gun looks really useful! (though I guess it's wasteful because the colors can only be dripped on once per crayon?)
The only videos I've seen with a hot air gun glued the crayons to the board so that's really interesting :o |
Regardless they are messy.
I have toothpicks nearby so I can clean the canvas up as soon as it dries but it still stains a bit .-. |
