I don't really know what staining and cleaning would look like XD.

I feel like a crayon melt art piece looks worlds more special in real life :o

SparX 12-17-2016 04:26 PM

Hello oh poster of posts!

Whence I finally finish this I'll upload the final picture potironette =O
I've only colored in one whole flower in 2 hours so far....

Potironette 12-17-2016 05:08 PM

Yay! A picture!

..Melting crayon sure takes a long time '~'

SparX 12-17-2016 05:27 PM

I let the crayon dry before going for the next section which takes a bit longer then just melting a bunch of crayons
I had an idea that I just remembered I may try on another painting
Shredding the crayons and sprinkling them in specific sections THEN melting it?
hmmmmmmmmm

SparX, the Wax Mistress!

...I now see a crayon wax figure museum with a SparX looking like the Phantom of the Opera...

Potironette 12-17-2016 09:34 PM

Lol XD!
That museum would take a long time to make

SparX 12-18-2016 12:02 AM

=O
that's an interesting idea
to make tiny figures out of crayon wax =O
but you would have to have really precise heating/carving thing...

Lawtan 12-18-2016 01:46 AM

...I actually tried that with candles and scenery for war games...the bubbles ruined most of it, but I have a nice red wax obelisk now. :D

SparX 12-18-2016 01:52 AM

At least you got something from the endeavor XD
I finally have all 5 flowers done.
Now I just need all the backgrounds XD

Potironette 12-18-2016 01:55 AM

Yay!

Out of curiousity, why the flowers first before the background :o?

SparX 12-18-2016 01:58 AM

I started asking myself that by the second flower
until I remembered the spray factor and since the poppys are a really vibrant red, they stained the canvas even though I scraped the wax off. So I believe my original mindset was to cover over the streaks with the background, then go back for final touches on the flowers in case of splattering from the background?
Sometimes I hate just going for things XD I was super confident when I drew it, had a full plan of exactly what colors to use and how to shade and everything XD

Potironette 12-18-2016 02:04 AM

Ohh, I remember the staining now xD.

Just going for things feels like my whole life X'D. I don't art though.

SparX 12-18-2016 02:20 AM

That reminded me of my old facebook cover photo XD
