Mmm...not really. They're talking about moving someone from the adjoined store to work as our boss- and I think they're doing it. She's pretty nice; well organized. Does things perfect, etc.

As for replacing people...we just lost -another- and that still leaves three that need replacing, even though we just got a new girl on staff. They're talking about pushing through my mom's application; but I doubt they'll hire her. <.< as, there's always a thing against hiring family.

I understand why they do such things because if a family holiday comes up, an argument between them or if an emergencey happens they'll lose two staff members instead of one

on the other hand, it is annoying if your family member is more qualified for the job and someone who hasn't got a clue gets the job, just bacause they are family

'Round here, I'm afraid the paranoia is theivery based. Family won't snitch on family- vice versa, Family will give family......perks. Also why friends aren't supposed to be employed in the same establishment. They also don't let you stand around talking to anyone. Not unless it's quick, and job related. <.<

theres also the fact that most establishments dont like putting family members in awkward situations like promotions etc. my sister and i used to work at the same place and they always stuck us together ><

Considering what I just did at work, I'm sure these floors are clean enough.

I am walmart floor crew, in other words in charge of cleaning the floors of a major shopping center. Lets just say since I've started working there, my family's water bill has gone up due to me taking so many showers.

sometimes i really just want to scream.

but i can't do that without the cops from across the road busting our door down. *sigh*

when i worked at a hardware store(you have no idea how dirty i got) i showered like 3 times a day >< although there were showers on site :P

while that happens im going to bed, night all ^^
