I'll be honest, every other weekend my mother takes my girls to give me a break.......does that make me a bad mother?

Well, as long as you're not doing anything illegal or allowing your mother do harm your children, I don't see why letting her take them off your hands for a day on a bi-weekly, is a bad thing. I think it's good to get a break from caring for your children, otherwise you may accidentally lash out at them and that would cause more harm than good.

Its usually for the whole weekend.

But it does usually allow me time to clean the house and things of that nature.

I think that's good. Kids get restless, and I know when I was little I always enjoyed my grandparents. I'd have LOVED if I could have biweekly weekends with my grandparents.

Plus my father spoils them rotten.

Well, what else can you do? You're going to need to clean the house every now and then.
Perhaps they could just go to a neighbour or nearby family friend's house for a bit instead?

I don't want to keep them from mom though so I deal.

However if I could I would keep them away from my father.

Ah, I see. Well, I have no clue how to keep them away from your father, because anything else I come up with will either involve death, make me sound sadistic, or both. >.>

Put it this way, I don't hate anybody. But I hate my first ex-husband and I hate my father. Not sure which I hate worse.
