I haven't. XD
I dunno why they can't just enjoy the originals. ;u;

Water 01-24-2011 08:03 PM

Yeah, some versions should just never be made. >_>

Mal Kapwn 01-25-2011 02:14 AM

British humor isn't very appreciated over here.

Taki 01-25-2011 02:56 AM

Silly remakes. :c

Water 01-25-2011 11:00 AM

HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE FAULTY TOWERS, MAL?

Leah 01-25-2011 12:08 PM

I hate that shitty programmes like Little Britain made their way over there. >|
UTTERLY CRAP. That isn't British humour. It's imbecilic humour.

Mal Kapwn 01-25-2011 12:41 PM

WATER YOU ARE CRAZY.

I haven't seen Little Britain XD I watched a non-comedy BBC show last year. It was really well done, imo.

Leah 01-25-2011 12:46 PM

DO NOT WATCH IT. EVER.

Can you remember what it was?

Mal Kapwn 01-25-2011 12:51 PM

Yes. Robin Hood :3 It starred Jonas Armstrong and Richard Armitage.

Leah 01-25-2011 01:02 PM

Ah, I remember watching a few episodes of that.
'If you like Robin Hood check out:
Being Human,
Skins.'

Errrm. Why the hell does it have Skins there? XDD
Then Top Gear appears after clicking Skins, lool.

Mal Kapwn 01-25-2011 01:07 PM

I've seen a commercial for the American version of Skins and it looks absolutely ridiculous.

Leah 01-25-2011 01:22 PM

Most would probably say the same about ours. xD
Definitely appeals most to teens.

The first and second series were pretty good, but the new cast in the third/fourth were just annoying. >>

Taki 01-25-2011 04:36 PM

I was not aware that there were so many American remakes of British shows. D8

I know quite a few remakes from Japanese ones, like Iron Chef. I like the original better. Then I heard about this new American tv show about contestants who have to do challenges that involves them getting though specific shapes in the wall as it moves toward them. I remember seeing Japanese videos of that on youtube.

Leah 01-25-2011 04:41 PM

Oh god, the British version of that human tetris thing is so stupid.
Ours is called Hole in the Wall, which I suppose makes more sense, but it's nowhere near as hilarious. xD

Mal Kapwn 01-25-2011 04:43 PM

Ours is called Hole in the Wall too XD

Taki 01-25-2011 04:45 PM

Ah yes, I was wondering if it was really called that because it sounds stupid. XD

I haven't watched it yet... it would probably be incredibly ridiculous ~ the Japanese did it better because they made it amusing. XD
