See- Yankee's get blizards, ice storms, and white outs. Nasty sons of bitches. |
Dude, I was in Taiwan when a massive typhoon hit...and we were eating sushi inside....and I was panicking because I was sure the water was gonna flood in (It was already past the front doors and beginning to spread out over the tiles. And coming back from the restaurant, my uncle thought, "Oh hey, this road is empty and traffic-free, let's go here."
We turned onto that street. Reason it was empty was because it was flooded. And the more you drove, the deeper the water got. We turned around when it got to a quarter way up the car doors...If we'd gone further, we would've stalled. |
Espy: Gosh, I bet that was terrifying.
HOWEVER, I know your pain. Flooding wise. We had that last year in April and holy sheist it was ridiculous. There were BOATS on the interstate, saving people. |
You learn early on not to go outside during a Hurricane.
Its not THAT the wind is blowing. Its WHAT the wind is blowing. |
Cron is depressing. XD
Anyway, in southern nevada, we get extreme heat... and... that's it, really. XD I mean we rarely get rain, nonetheless heavy rain (although it tends to flood when it does), we get almost no snow, ever, and... well we get the occasional fire when someone was dumb enough not to put out their campfire up in the mountains. |

One dirty fact about the South is that we are sitting on the biggest and most powerful faultline in the America's.
|
Really cron? I didn't know that. Although from a documentary I watched, it's likely that another huge Earthquake will hit either cali or washington next in the ring of fire...
|
Aye; the New Madrid Fault. Last time it erupted in the 1800'w it went on for 3 months and affected over 20 states (every state at the time) and was felt in Canada. It made the Mississippi run backwards, drained some rivers, and carved out new ones in their place, drownin entire forests in some spots.
|
O.O wow... that... that is EARTH right there...
|
Here in Cali...we get the San Bruno gas pipe explosion. And restaurants burning down. And a triple homicide at SJSU yesterday night.
And then we also get the weather's temper. IT AIN'T EVEN FUNNY. (Also, what's the biggie about never saying "ain't"? And don't be pouring buckets of paint over me.) |
Corn is right.
For me, it's near Memphis. Azzy, the what? xD |
Hm....I think Mother Earth is PMSing.
San Andreas fault ftw...and the San Joaquin...and the Hayward... |
As I said. Were are a blink in time. We can polute it all we want and we will only be a flea biting at the skin of a Rhino.
So next time you hear a Cicada chirping, remember that it is one part of a giant puzzle. |
ring of fire. It's basically the outer edges of one of the plates. It runs through cali, just off the coast of orgeon, just outside of Japan, Australia... Um I think it was Australia, I can't quite remember. But it's the location of a lot of major Earthquakes.

AHHAA.I WROTE CRON AS CORN. BAHHAHHAHA.
Anyway, this is no laughing matter. T: Now, what are we talking about? |
