I managed a whole 169 words just now. I'm trying to happy about that. I suppose content will have to do, as long as I keep going.

All this writing *almost* motivates me to get back to writing also. Almost...

I'm writing fanfiction at the moment, so it wont help my ailing submission rate but it's something.

Well the last thing I stopped in the middle of writing was a fanfiction too, for an old game called 7th Saga. I liked doing it but I'll admit I was awfully lazy, something like 10 paragraphs per chapter. :p

Meh. Tolstoy has you beat for short chapters. He writes in about that range ;). Shortest chapter I encountered was half a page. I have one main fantasy story that I write and otherwise write short little snippets of around 600 words. I'm a very boring fanfiction writer. No neko, no demons, no alternate universe morphing psychic kittens, just characters doing more or less what I figure they'd be doing in present situations. Like having tea.

No universe altering psychic kittens? BLASPHEMY.

Talking about psychic kittens makes me think of a series, the Ghatti's Tales. Have you ever read any of them Quiet?

No actually. I just sorta pulled the idea from the various fanfic incarnations I've seen, which includes psyhics and characters being cats adn kittens, repeatedly.

The Ghatti aren't universe altering, but they are psychic cats. They were well written but it was rather violent too, and a little hard to read about all the cats dying x.x

It's a mean producer whole kills the animals in a movie/book/artistic venture. It's almost an entertainmentn requirement, save the pet! The owner can die, the dog must live!
