I went to YaoiCon last year for the first time. It was their 10th anniversary! I have to save up all year to go, though, since it's on the other side of the country and I don't have a job.

I found all sorts of regular anime conventions going on in the area where I live via the internet. I'm interested in yaoi ans yuri mostly, though.

Well, there's Otakuthon... and that's pretty much it in a 2 hours radius from here. Otherwise I need to either go to Quebec city with their new anime convention that doesn't look all that interesting (and it's 3+ hours from here), or I have to go to Ontario, which I usually do once a year but can't afford more lol.

I think Anime North has some Yuri and Yaoi, ya there's a part of the con especially for that lol.

There was a convention in Orlando that had a Yaoi PJ Party every year, but it's stopped running since the convention planning had begun to take up almost an entire year in and of itself. I was lucky to be able to go to the last one. I got a special badge and ribbon from it!

Nah, it's like those cheapo ribbons they give out at kids sporting events. It's light pink and says "Yaoi PJ Party" in gold lettering.

Ah ok xD Well, at least you have a ribbon to show off to those who couldn't attend :p
