*still confused* he doesnt sound too nice though XP paragon? *hangs head at lack of knowledge*
Oh, paragon is the best example of something.
And Feanor is mainly in the Silmarillion. That book is more or less the story of his family, once you get past the Genesis type part in the beginning. |
I'm still in thr Genesis type beginning. I think Illuviat has given the world to the gods to shape and Morgoth is not playing nice.
oooh ok. yeah i skipped to one chapter in the middle (forget which, its been years) i think it had some kind of....dogs. wargs maybe. or maybe that was a different book entirely..
Now this conversation has taken a direction I know nothing about xD All i've read is the Hobbit, LotR trilogy and Farmer Giles of Ham. I've avoided other ones as I'm not to bothered about Lore and such.
I started on the Hobbit years ago, but the book was stolen before I could ever finish it. It saddened me greatly.
I have two copies XP Started trying to memorize the whole book but i ended up forgetting about the whole project soon after
Hmm, we had a thread for such discussions in the books forum a while back. Perhaps I should go revive it so we don't confuse Ducky any farther? :p
I'm fine with you having the conversations here, I just wont have much in the way of input.
OH GOD I HAVE BEEN WAITING
It looks amazing. |
You still have to wait almost an entire year, and that's only for the first half.
If only the production hadn't been stopped and cancelled so much.. |
Um...
Um, um... WHAT?? If I'm deciphering that guy's confused babble correctly (glad the actor is so in touch with the material he has a significant role in...) SAURON HIMSELF is going to take an active role in the Battle of Five Armies? Um... I don't even... I'm going to pretend the guy just has no idea what he's talking about. :) Yep. We're all good here. Poor confused actor guy. :) |
gah. no. he must be an idiot yes. and i got really annoyed with all those delays too -_-
That is just such a mind-bogglingly awful idea, I simply cannot believe it's true. The number of plotholes that would create, just within the context of films themselves, is ridiculous.
Wait, maybe this is Fridge Brilliance, since in Jackson's Middle-Earth, during the War of the Ring, Sauron is a disembodied eye unable to take corporeal form. Maybe he lost the body he had during the Third Age in a cataclysmic duel with the White Council during the Battle of the Five Armies. That... is so absurd, it almost makes sense. :\ |
eurgh. they cant. well...they can, but even i would have huge problems with that, and usually i give some leeway for movies based off of books...
I will give them the benefit of the doubt until I actually see it :/
