Mizuki growled "Dont start that with me. You know as well as I do that the more you bleed the weaker this barrier gets" He said to him "I know your stubborn and hot headed but now is the time not to be" Mizuki said before he reached a hand up and carefully moving it over Thalions side he moved pale fingers over the males back.

Once he reached the spot he gasp a little. It was a shard of rock sticking out of Thalions back just under his shoulder. It was not that thick but the tip of a larger rock sticking through the barrier. What a very close call though it was still bad Looking at Thalion he sighed "You...are bleeding to heavy" Mizuki said with a worried look.

In all reality there was nothing really that he could do. The shard prevented him from fully healing the male but if Thalion stayed any longer the way that he was things would be bad. Mizuki needed to think of a way to heal him....but the distance was short between them. If he pulled down and the shard was to long he would most likely cause Thalions death. "I....cant heal it..." He said in a shakey voice.

Ok Mizuki was right, the more time that passed in his current state the weaker the barriers hold would be. Of course runes still were connected to their caster so enough time passes and they could still be dead under good circumstances. He never said anything knowing the other was right.

He laughed a little as Mizuki pointed out the obvious. "I think I knew that already.." So long as he didn't move much the spike should keep the wound mostly closed. Lesson learned from having to deal with arrows a few times. Though he could tell Mizuki was worried. Honestly even if he didn't admit it he was as well. It could take hours for anyone to dig them out, let alone if they were found even.

He shook his head a little as Mizuki said he couldn't heal it. "I know that.. heh." Though by now his body was getting use to the pain as he winced a little a bit more aware of how bad it was. "How did you survive all these years?" Thal smirked a little remembering some things when they were younger. "I was all the time having to save you from some mess you got yourself into."

The talking was to distract Mizuki and himself though it was easy to tell his strength was wavering a bit. Holding himself steady as well as keeping his focus on the barrier. But he couldn't give up, if he did they'd both die for sure.

Mizuki gave a little smile "Luna mostly..." He said with a nod of his head when Thalion asked how he lived all these years. Feeling with light fingers around the area Mizuki frowned "Your not going to like this" He said "But...we need to heal that area...in order to do that we need to remove the stone from your back" Mizuki said and as Thalion began to protest he shook his head.

"Please do not argue" He said closing his eyes "After all these years then nearly dying from Sander and finally telling you the one thing that I have kept from you for years...." Mizuki paused "I am not going to loose you....not to a cave in and not this early" He said with a frown on his face looking up to Thalion his ears dipped back and his face grew sad as spoke again "Not when I just got you" Mizuki said.

"You need to trust me Thalion" Mizuki said looking into the ember eyes of the drow above him "I know its a long shot but I am almost positive that we have enough room here to remove the shard and heal you..." Thalion once again began to protest "Do not ask me to lay here and watch the man I love die above me when I had the chance to save him but he wouldnt let me!" Mizuki said with a growl.

He could guess that the dragonkin was the main reason he had lived all this time. Though he was sure there was a story behind her following Mizuki around. It could wait though, or so he thought anyway. He had no plans to die here, not like this anyway. Though things were hardly looking well off that was certain. Though his ears went back a little hearing Mizuki said he wasn't going to like this.

"Oh yeah that sounds pleasant, not to mention if its not done right I'll bleed out quicker. Heh ... great options I have." But he knew the other was right, currently he had to use most of his energy to keep the barrier in place to prevent them from being crushed, let alone to keep what air they had. But at the rate things were going he'd hardly last the hour let alone the time needed for anyone to get to them.

Listening to Mizuki say that he didn't want to lose him hurt, honestly he wasn't sure if he was going to pull through this one like he always did. Not that he would ever admit it but he was worried that this would be the last time he got the chance to say anything to Mizuki. He needed to tell him, just in case things went and took a turn for the worse. Though he was trying to keep the situation light as he laughed weakly. "your not losing me, remember how stubborn I am?" Though he was hardly convincing himself of the statement let alone Mizuki.

As Mizuki spoke again he had to think on it. There was a chance that things could turn for the worse... but they had no choice. He couldn't ask Mizuki to just lay there and watch this unfold knowing the current outcome. Finally he nodded a little before speaking. "Get on with it than..." This was going to hurt and he knew it, so long as there was enough space than things should work out right? Than he just had to hold out till someone got to them. Or till the air ran out one of the two.

Mizuki listened and he smiled lightly even in the situation to the words that Thalion said. He wasnt loosing him and that was the thing that stuck in his mind. As Thalion gave him the go he nodded his head "I am sorry to do this" He said before reaching his other arm up and around Thalion placing it on the males back lower down near his ass. "Remind me...when we get out of here" Mizuki began "We need to do this again...just in a more softer less deathy place" He said before he yanked down.

As he pulled Thalion down he did it swiftly so he could work fast. As soon as Thalion was laying on his chest the spell was cast and Mizuki whinced "Sorry" He said as he forced his hand between the rock and the whole. He had scratched gouged his hand in the process but that was an easy fix. Right now he had more important things to think of as he pressed his hand down onto the wound.

Hearing Thalion gasp Mizukis face grew sad "I am sorry" He said turning his head into the males neck and shoulder "It will be over fast" Mizuki said as he added more pressure to heal deeper. With a matter of minutes the wound was almost healed and Mizuki stopped. The amount that was left to heal would be no more then an irritation.

Mizuki sighed as he stayed where he was. Do to the rock above them if Thalion moved up he would hit it and they didnt need that happening again. Smiling lightly Mizuki couldnt help the next actions. Kissing the dark neck below pale lips he spoke "Thank you..." He said his lips brushing skin "For saving my life again" He said lightly with a little laugh.

Do this again he says. He would have laughed if it wasn't for the sudden surge of pain that ran through him as Mizuki forced him to move. "The death was the exciting part." He hissed out trying to distract himself from the pain, not that it was working at all but still. He wasn't being serious about the death being the exciting part but still, it was the only thing he could come up with on short notice that kept him from crying out in pain. He didn't want to make Mizuki feel worse about this than what he already did.

His ears were still back seeing as even as Mizuki was healing the wound it still hurt like nothing else. He was lucky he was even keeping focus on the task of keeping the barrier up. He was hearing what Mizuki was saying but he couldn't fore the words to say anything at the moment as he just had to deal with it till the other was done.

Thouh it was as Mizuki said it was nearly fully healed, at the least the best that could be done given their tight confinement. Breathing a little now that he could without a rush of pain. He was about to thank the other for healing the wound. Though he was beat to saying thank you seeing as it took a moment for him to recover. Though lesson learned.. armor wear it when going anywhere... Would have made the wound a bit less.

He wasn't expecting Mizuki to kiss his neck, though he really wished the other hadn't. Being unable to move meant he couldn't even pull away from the other. He wasn't expecting anything to really phase him after what they had just gone through, let alone were still going though. Ok the kiss he managed to hide but as the other kept talking he tried to move his neck enough to get away from the sudden torment he found himself in. "Probably won't be the last time.. heh .. just don't .. do that again." he meant the kiss, the cave in couldn't really be helped.

Mizuki stopped as Thalion continued to speak.Not to do it again. Was it really that bad? Mizukis ears dipped back as he felt the male move away "Alright" He said softly in a raspy voice. Now things seemed to stop and time itself refused to move for him. How much longer could they stay in here? Let alone now that neither of them seemed to be talking.

Mizuki needed no he wanted to get out of the little cubby they seemed to be in. What was he going to do though? How long would it take for the others to reach them? How long before they were saved? No Mizuki couldnt wait that long. Going through all of the spells in his head he thought of one. "I am getting us out of here and now" He said with a growl.

Starting his spell he ignored Thalion as he asked what he was doing the only thing he said to the male was "Hold your breath its going to be hard to breath" He said as he began to the spell. Soon enough the barrier the male held was done and the rocks began to sink. But only because Mizuki was sucking the air in for his spell from around them.

It was simple the suction would allow him a back blow. Taking the air in he forced it out and a boom forcing the rocks out from over them and around them. Mizuki breathed heavy as he finished the spell laying there. First healing then the spell he was nearing his energy limit. Moving Thalion over to the side he sat up before standing. Looking he noticed the cave entrence still blocked. It seems to him that they were covered from the roof by some large stones...they were lucky.

As much as part of him wanted to let Mizuki do whatever he wanted, he couldn't afford that. It wasn't like he was a mage or anything so focusing on the barrier was a hard enough task without distractions. Though from the sounds of it Mizuki took it the wrong way, but no point in trying to talk to the other now. He hardly knew how much air they had in here let alone how long when or if they were found.

Soon... if they weren't pulled from this soon he wasn't going to be able to hold the barrier for forever. Though it was about this time that Mizuki blurted out he was getting them out of here. Though he wasn't sure he liked what he was hearing as Mizuki seemed to ignore any reasoning he had to do. Doing a spell from here could cause things to be worse for all he knew. Hell they could be under quite a few layers of rocks.

After Mizuki's spell was through he couldn't help but breath out thinking a million things on how bad that could have turned out if they were covered by more rocks than what Mizuki was able to force back. All he could do for the moment was lay there on his back. Everything hurt if he had to admit it. Cutting a rune spell off just like that was a bit painful.

"Heh... I need... to stop hanging around you." He laughed weakly still not bothering to move for the moment. Space was something he was rather grateful for at the moment. "Second though... I want to retire." Ok not really he'd go mad with nothing to do but every time he seemed to be near Mizuki he had nearly died. Ok save the one time a few nights ago. Though it was about that time he bothered to notice where they were and that they were still cut off. Well least they were alive right? So long as nothing else got trapped in here with them.

First he was told never to do that again then the next moment he was told that Thalion didnt want to hand around him anymore. True they had bad luck and he didnt know what to do any more. One moment they were close together with a smile and the next moment they were apart with feelings of gratitude and relief.

Sighing to himself Mizuki moved over and found a rock to sit on. Looking around the cave he noticed that the entrance was covered but he didnt know how thick. Not only that but there was a little stream that filled into a large pool on the other side of the cave. Well at least they had water. Mizuki sighed, they needed to keep what air they had so they couldnt create a fire but they needed light.

Thinking he brought his hands up to his mouth taking the crystal from around his neck and holding it to his lips. A light whisper of old elvish he blew on the crystal. Soon a light lavender light flew from the crystal to forum a bird that flew around lighting the cave. Mizuki didnt speak there was nothing to say. Hanging his head he sighed to himself his ears flattening.

He had taken that the wrong way didn't he? Yep as soon as he heard the sigh as the other seemed to walk over to be by himself he knew that was the case. Though the light he could live without, though Mizuki couldn't. He moved a little before sitting up and really taking notice that all they had was air and water.

After a moment he noticed Mizuki was still off to the side with his head hanging. Yes he knew they had to watch the air supply they had but he needed to say something in the event they still didn't pull through. "You know I was joking right?" He meant about the not hanging around Mizuki. Though from the doomed look the other had he guessed not.

When he got no reply he glared a little before he was fed up with the silence. Moving he pushed Mizuki back against the wall behind him before kissing the other. He could protest later if he wished. "Believe me if you want.. I do love you. Honestly I would have died if it wasn't for you."

Mizuki was in shock. The cool lips on his made him smile a little then he heard Thalion speak. He loved him...did he really return his feelings? Looking up he looked Thalion right in the eyes "Your...not joking" He said as he looked right into the face before him and not once did he see a hint of a lie. No so what Thalion had said then was true.

"I would of died if it was not for you...looks like we need each other" He said before reaching a hand up and putting it on the side of Thalions face. "I need you more then you know" He said with a smile "I have waited for so long to hear you say that" He said before leaning in and kissing Thalion again.

Though the kiss was short as he pulled away not sure if Thalion would move that fast. The love was the best thing that he could ask for "I never thought I would ever hear you say those words" Mizuki said looking to him Thalion with a smile before his ears dipped back and a light blush covered his cheeks under his eyes as he turned his head a little away from Thalion "Sorry...about before...I didnt think it just happened" He said about the kiss to the neck earlier.

He didn't answer Mizuki, he didn't need to. Did it seem like he was joking? Let alone when did he joke about something like that even. Though it didn't take Mizuki long at all to figure out the answer for himself. Saying what he did probably hinted he was a bit concerned that they were still stuck. Who knew if they had a limited air supply or not even, it looked pretty sealed so for now assume the worse.

He felt a little bad it took them both nearly dying, maybe still doing so to get him to say it. Or maybe rather admit it to himself before telling the other something that had been true for probably a while. "heh.. to be honest I though I was going to die before I got the chance to tell you." Lucky wasn't half of it, if that shard had hit anywhere else it could have meant a lung or anything else, but whatever devils luck he had the shard had missed anything vital.

Though he noticed Mizuki seemed to think on something as a hint of blush crossed the other's face before he turned his head to hide it. "yeah.. about that.. I just couldn't keep the barrier up while being distracted.." His ears went back a little not wanting to really admit that to the other. "Though you do know I see really well in the dark... so your turning your head for no reason." He shrugged a little, it was a little funny to him.

Mizuki blushed darker as Thalion spoke. Yes he knew that he could see in the dark though Mizuki had issues with it. Light elven were not so good at dark. Mizuki turned his head after a moment to look back at Thalion. It was a distraction was it "Well...it would of been a good distraction at least" He said in an ill humored joke not knowing what to do or say.

"Thalion...was...the only reason why you said that...was because you thought or still do think that we are going to die?" He asked him a little sadly. Mizuki wanted Thalion to tell him that he loved him because he wanted to not because he thought he was forced to. The thought made him a little sad "I mean...its okay never mind" He said moving so he could stand and move past Thalion. Walking a little bit away from the male he stood before the pool of water.

It was large enough and deep enough that the water rippled with movement creating soft waves on the walls from the light that flew around the cave. Looking into the water Mizuki looked at his reflection. Noticing the triangle shape missing from his ear they dipped down. Just another thing he used to almost kill Thalion.

"heh.. good distraction till we were crushed to death.. fair enough." There was a thought that nearly came all too true. He really did cut that rune close. Though at the moment any distraction would be welcome. Not to be the one to think ill of situations, but they had no idea how bad the cave in was. Let alone how long they were going to be here, days they could do. so long as they had water and air at least.

Though he looked at Mizuki when he asked if that was the only reason he said what he did. Though he didn't get to answer that question as Mizuki spoke again before standing. As he walked past and towards the pool of water Thal sighed a little. Did he really have to explain this now?

He waited a moment watching the other before noticing something else seemed to be on his mind as Mizuki's ears dropped a little. Walking over to the other noticed the side that Mizuki seemed to be looking at in the waters reflection. Right him...They never did find that bastard. revenge wasn't even close to the word he wanted to use if he ever saw him.

Though he had more than just personal reasons now to want that guy's head on a pike. At first it was payback for that scar on his face as well as the others. But now he felt like he had to get back at the man for nearly killing Mizuki. Even before they had admitted feelings at that time... He had his answer for Mizuki.

"No I didn't just say it because I ave doubts of us making it out of here.." He sighed a little before speaking again. "I meant what I said, I had spent most of the years pushing thoughts of you aside and saying they didn't matter and that nothing would come of it. Nearly losing you the first time made me notice I still cared, even if i pushed you away I did it because I didn't know how to handle still caring about you."

Shaking his head a little he knew how childish that sounded but it was the truth. Though Mizuki seemed to still be looking at the pool of water as Thal made him face him. "I do love you, you don't have to believe me but damn it I said it anyway. If we make it out of here I'll still say it." He never once was really mad at Mizuki for anything, even nearly getting them killed. He couldn't be no matte how he tried.

So he did care for him and has for awhile now. Mizuki wanted to believe this and so much. The look on Thalions face told him that he was telling the truth "I have loved you for many years...though with every turn I took you pushed me away" Mizuki said "I thought you knew I cared but rejected the thought of it" He said almost sadly as he dipped his head a little.

Though after a moment or two he looked back up to Thalion with a smile and half lidded eyes "We will get out of this...and your sticking to your word" he said with a smile as he reached up and brushed pale fingers of over a pointed ear to trail down the side of his face lightly to a dark neck.

Mizuki then removed his hand slowly as he brushed his fingers down the skin of Thalion as he removed his hand "I do love you" He said "And nothing makes me happier to know you love me as well" Mizuki said with a soft smile and half lidded eyes "More then you know...." He said with a little nod.

He shook his head a little. "I think you of all people know I can be a bit dense. It was only recently I even started putting things together you had said or done in the past." Maybe slow was a better word. But heck when they were younger the girls were always around Mizuki so why would he think anything of the sort really.

"Yeah, your probably right." He wanted the other to be right really. But he also had to be realistic, the group they had brought with them had others to lead the assault that needed to take place soon. So after so long they would have to give up on being rescued.

Though that thought died when Mizuki moved a hand to run from his ear down to his neck. Honestly he didn't mind what Mizuki had done before just unexpected as far as how it had effected him was all. Though seeing their current situation.. he wished they were elsewhere. Though maybe he was just giving in to temptation at this point.

"More than I know huh? Perhaps-" He was cut off by a sudden growling noise as his ears went back remembering such a sound. "Thats not good..." He said as he noticed the questioning look on the others face. He moved a little before turning him around. "That... that is not good." Out of everything.. that was probbaly why the support didn't hold well, apparently a dragon was living here, from the looks of it a female, though that might be worse than it just being a dragon.

Mizxuki smiled as Thalion talked though when he suddenly stopped he was not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. With the question in his mind he soon had an answer as the male moved and showed a pissed off dragon standing infront of an opening on the other side of the cave by the pool. So that was why the wall was thinner then it should of been. A female dragon had dug her way in here. That meant only one thing "Please...do not tell me that is a pissed off dragon" Mizuki said before pausing.

This was when the dragon before them growled again and took a step forward. Her eyes were bitch black and her skin was a dark blue with flecks of lighter blew and white though that was not the thing that made Mizuki afraid. "Thalion...there are three eggs behind that female" He said peering into the opening beyond.

Great so not only had they disturbed a dragon in a little closed off place but a female guarding childern no less "Do we have any other luck but bad?" Mizuki asked in a hiss as he reached out a hand and grabbed onto Thalions arm "I cant do much magic" He said "My energies almost gone" He said with a growl glaring at the female before him "I have enough to cast one maybe two at the most" He said taking a step back as the female before them took another towards them.

"Ok than I won't tell you that a dragon is one of the last things I wanted to see. Bad experiences as a child all aside." He laughed weakly, this was grand indeed. Their luck they run into a nesting dragon. He was starting to think the gods hated them or something and that was saying something as Thal never thought much as far as the ways of the gods.

"Yep... there are.. so might I add how rare it is to find a dragon in these parts now or after we're eaten?" He smirked a little finding a ill humor in this. Survive a cave in only to fight a dragon, there was a story in there somewhere that he'd punch a bard for the moment he started reciting it.

Though when Mizuki said he could only do a spell or two Thal knew their hope was grim. "Well... guess we improvise. Lucky for you.. I've had a fair bit experiences with dragons." Granted it was all running away from, when he did run as a child he wasn't expecting to come across any dragons. He moved before grabbing Mizuki's arm and forcing them both to duck behind a rock pile to the side.

"Ok.. it's mainly blue so fire isn't the element we're worried about." Though fire would have made this easy. "Seeing as we only have a few shots with your spells the next best bet is to get the one soft spot... though the downside." He shrugged a little speaking. "It only appears when the beast is using its breath attacks. And seeing as I don't carry dragon slaying gear about commonly.. thats our options. Though being water electric spells should do a bit of damage as well."

Mizuki gasped a little as they were one moment standing and the next moment kneeling down behind some rock pile that was near by. Mizuki looked at Thalion as the male spoke and he was right they had few chanced at this though as he spoke more Mizuki got an idea. "I think I have a plan but your not going to like it" He said with a frown.

"If you distract the beast and move it over some....I could get closer to it" He said "From there get the beast to use her attack. Make her breath her power and when she is weak" Mizuki said with a smile "I think an earth spike would do nicely to get through the thick skin of the under belly" He said with a nod of his head "Though...its risky" Mizuki said "I would be able to do it once"

The spell he had in mind was one that would take what energy he had left so it would have to be a dead on shot they were to get out of here "So...I need you not to die when you do this but I need you to draw her closer this way" Mizuki said before leaning in and kissing Thalion "I love you...be safe" He said to him with a smile. They were going to get out of this and Mizuki would make sure of that.

He looked at the other as if to say oh really. "when do I ever like your plans?" Couldn't complain too much, there were worse dragons to be pinned by that just a blue. Though listening to the plan aloud made it sound like a easy task. Right easy...

"Move the dragon got it... such a easy task I could do this n my sleep." He laughed a little shaking his head. Hardly easy, a nesting dragon of all things. They were lucky this one seemed young and inexperienced. He was about to move to try out this little plan they had before Mizuki seemed to stop him a moment.

Needed him not to die, well he never planned on it that was sure. Though he wasn't expecting the kiss as he smiled a bit after. "I'm always safe, your the one who keeps getting me in trouble." He teased a little before kissing the other before he got any negative thoughts in his head. "Don't you die either, none of that over use of magic crap."

That being said he moved from behind the rock not really expecting the dragon to be still in the same spot. She was hesitating? That was odd, shaking the thought he did probably one of the first things they teach those who live in such areas not to do.. get the dragons attention. Easy enough done seeing as the creature was defensive and trapped. A combination nothing should be fought in. Though least the dragon was moving. 'I'm screwed if this plan fails.' he almost wanted to laugh at the thought, one mere sword and runes didn't work on dragons. Even if he used his magic it wouldn't be effective.. yep Mizuki better not miss.

Mizuki peeked over the rock and watched as Thalion got the dragons attention. Good one thing down. Mizuki watched as the beast growled and stomped its feet. You could tell it was young it was doing everything it could before actually attacking. Mizuki almost felt bad for the plan that they had but in a moment like this it was either her or them and Mizuki was not dieing today.

As Thalion taunted the creature Mizuki moved to be closer. Watching he waited for the moment that he needed. The beast was standing there watching Thalion. "Come on...just a little more to your right" Mizuki said in a little whisper as he watched what took place before him.

Just when he was about to think of a different plan he watched as the beast reared up and began its attack. "Shit!" Mizuki said as there was no choice. Darting forward his spell was being cast as he moved and before long he was infront of Thalion. A wave and a flick of his hand the earth below the dragon twisted and whined as it formed a spike.

Though it didnt reach high enough "Crap!" He said watching as the beast fell forward to breath what it had built up and as it did the spike impaled itself through the beast jaw and up through its snout. Struggeling the beast Thrashed "Wait...somethings wrong" Mizuki said as he realized that the attack never came. No instead it was building in the beasts mouth.

Quickly he casted his spell before he turned around and wrapped his arms around Thalion as a stone wall came up just as a roar came. Then the walls of the cave lit up with electric viens snapping and crackling lighting the very air in electric waves. Mizuki hissed as the spikes lashed at the skin of the two males.

Mizuki only had enough energy to create a small wall between them and he could hear it cracking. There was one last boom then darkness as the light from the electric current ran out. Breathing heavy Mizuki groaned as he felt every little burn on his arms. Moving a hand down Thalions he sighed. They both got hit but not as bad as it could of been.

This was harder than it looked, the beast wasn't following or attacking as it should have been. He wasn't going to question it, just meant he didn't have to avoid the attacks from the creature. Though he was a bit worried as the beast finally seemed ready to strike, he had ended up closer to the wall than he thought so avoiding a attack would be fun to say the least.

He was about to breath a little when Mizuki seemed to notice something was wrong about the same time he did. Though before he could do anything Mizuki had put a wall up between them and the dragons apparent final assault before it's death.

Ok so the wall wasn't perfect but still when everything seemed over they were both alive at least. When there was silence a moment and the wall seemed to riced he sighed a little. Though it was a short lived one as the creature fell from it's last assault. It's body crashing into the wall closest to it.

The wall was destroyed upon impact, they were luck no other rocks were lose from the previous cave in. Though on the now cleared wall as the dust died down was some dumbfounded troops who had been busy trying to dig through it. Two of the five next in command were there as they could hardly grasp that the two were alive let alone a dragon just crashed through the wall.

The two were busy still just trying to remain on their feet after all of that as Thal smirked a little. "Well.. got the cave cleared." Seeing as in the long run they did just what they had set out to do.

Mizuki laughed tiredly at Thalions comment. He was close to being out of energy. Having burns and no energy he wanted a nap. Though he knew for a fact that wouldnt happen for a long time. Sighing he looked to Thalion "Wall cleared?" He asked as the male spoke before he looked in the direction he was peering. Awww so that was what he meant.

It would seem that the dragon did them a bit of a favor. Looking at the troops before him Mizuki smiled. With the help from Thalion he was able to still be on his feet though he felt his legs starting to shake and he knew that if rested fully on Thalion the male would fall as well. With them both at there limit Mizuki was shocked that they were even standing now. "God you would think we would have attention by now" He said with a tired smirk looking up at Thalion.

"You'd think, hell it's not like we were declared read just yet." He said carrying on Mizuki's little line. Honestly the odds of a dragon crashing through a wall were slim so of course the ones there were in shock for a moment. Though one of the two in current command finally got things moving ordering a medic to make sure they were ok. He didn't want to move truthfully. He felt Mizuki was barely standing,heck the stunt with the dragon was about all the energy he had to spare. If anything else decided to pick now to happen they were screwed.

Though after the few medics they had with them got to them Mizuki was no longer leaning on Thal. Before they could go to camp they had to make sure neither of them were in worse condition than they looked. Truthfully if Thal had his way they'd go back to camp and rest, but there were other things that needed to be done.

As Felix walked over to the two shaking his head Thal had a comment for him. "So I have a answer for you finally." Felix seemed to pause a moment before remembering what he had asked that was never answered. "Oh?" "Yeah.. being a lower rank I never had to deal with this shit." He said with a slight smirk. The question the human had asked was why Thal refused promotions, he had thought it was odd. Though he had a point.

Mizuki sighed as he was helped to lean on some rocks near by as the medics looked him over "Look...im fine...just tired" He said to them as they fussed over little scratches and burns "No I dont care what you think I know how am I am!" He said with a growl "Now the best way for you to help me would be to take Thalion and I to a tent to sleep" He said with a growl.

Last time he checked there was more then just he two of them that could order some troops around. Mizuki sighed "Just...take me to a tent" He said lightly as he forced himself off of the wall before stumbling some and almost falling forward. Mizuki was greatfull when he felt arms hold him keeping him up right.

Sighing he closed his eyes for a moment before he opened them again. He was expecting Thalion to be the one holding him up but when he looked it was not who he thought or wanted. It was Felix. The human male he often saw around Thalion "Thank you" He said softly.

The medics tried to protest but gave up. Between the two of them, most having dealt with Thalion in the past, yeah this was a lost cause. They had a area prepared already back at the main camp, and some of the excitement died down a bit as others got to work on clearing this area better.

Felix shook his head a little as Mizuki thanked him. "Next time how about sharing some of the fun eh?" He was joking of course, but for a while he thought they were both dead for sure. "You wouldn't have wanted to come anyway." Was a remark from Thal as he glared at a medic who gave up finally. "Whys that?" "No women." Such a simple answer it was funny, though Felix made a bit of a face before sighing. "Well guess thats true... still! At the least you both better same some of the fighting for the rest of us." Like the two could take on a army alone.

After a while they did get them back to camp, though they were kind of forced to be in a tent together. Not like it mattered really. Though once there a medic was fretting over the hole in the back of his shirt as Thal waved him off saying it was fine.

"Ugh I hate medics.." he finally said being more than tired. Felix said things were taken care of so at the least the two would be allowed some rest.. for now anyway. It was needed though, not like they could fight like this. Thinking on it they should be dead, whatever the reason they were alive he was thankful.

He smiled as he heard the two talk back and fourth. Mizuki didnt really pay attention not until it was time for them to head back to the tents. He was greatful that there were tents already set up. Tables, beds and supplies littered the large tent for the two males. Even as far and two beds though they might as well have pushed them together.

Mizuki sighed as he sat there looking at Thalion as the male spoke or more rambled about things not being done. Do to the cave not being cleared fully cleared men were bunking together in tents. Right now Mizuki didnt want to complain. He was in the tent with the male that mattered and that was that. Sighing he stood and removed the cloak and robes he had on.

Mizuki didnt care at the moment who saw what he was dirty and that was not standing to well with him. Dropping what robes he wore to the ground he walked over to a shelf and grabbed a hair brush. Walking back over where he sat he smiled as he still watched Thalion rant the male not even noticing he had moved. Bringing his long braid forward over his shoulder he undid it before he began to brush his hair out.

Crossing his legs the long white strands fell over a pale chest to fall in a white clothed lap as he crossed his legs. If he was to sit there as he was with his hair it would be close to brushing the ground and it was dirty enough in his opinion. It was the moment he closed his eyes and hummed softly to himself that he felt eyes on him. Opening his part way he looked up and at Thalion.

Felix and Thal went back and forth for a while before Thal gave in finally accepting things were under control. Felix left after telling them both to stay out of trouble for one night at least. Though Thal still wasn't really content with being told to rest. There was a ton that still needed to be done.

In a way he was glad Mizuki had healed that wound from before. Seeing as he never saw his back he didn't have to explain anything if a question was asked. Anyone who had seen wounds knew that the scars on his back were from a thorned whip. Though they were rather faded now due to how long ago it happened. Still not something he wanted to talk about, there were a few reasons he had run from home none had he told Mizuki.

Though it was about that time he even looked towards Mizuki, not really expecting to see him just sitting there as he was. Maybe he should have, even as children Mizuki hated being dirty. In truth he wasn't meaning to just watch the other but it seemed a bit late to take it back as Mizuki's eyes opened again.

He should say something right? But what, hell he was glad they were both alive still let alone anything else. Though it dawned on him what he had told the other, he didn't regret it and he had meant it. But what did that mean than? He'd rather fight a dragon any day over thoughts of being lost at what Mizuki was expecting from him.

It was a long moment that the two of them just looked at each other. After awhile Mizuki smiled "Are you going to stand there and stare at me forever?" He asked with a little tilt of his head as he stopped brushing his hair. Setting the brush on the table he stood on shakey legs. It took Mizuki a moment or two to get his balance back but when he did he walked over to Thalion "You know...I am sure if you can live after everything today it wouldnt kill you to rest" Mizuki said as he stood infront of him.

Mizuki stood there shirtless with nothing but loose fitting white pants on and his white hair flowing around him. Mizuki tilted his head a little as he looked at Thalion. "Come on" He said grabbing Thalions hand he tugged it a little in the direction of the two beds "You know you need rest just as well as I do" he said with a smile and a nod of his head.

He had seen Mizuki shirtless before so why was he acting this way now. Though when Mizuki spoke he couldn't help his words as he shrugged slightly. "Could... though I think I'd fall over sooner or later." He was only on his feet now for the fact he was being stubborn. Felix always said he could give mules lessons. Maybe he was right.

He knew Mizuki was right, he needed to rest but he was.. busy with other thoughts. Part being about the upcoming fight and the other being about the one before him. Though as Mizuki tugged on him a little he gave in finally. He'd never be left alone otherwise, though he had something else in mind other than just resting, or rather resting alone anyway.

Too many close calls today, he wasn't about to give up one of the few chances he had. Pulling back he got Mizuki to turn around before kissing him. "I'll rest.. but on one condition." He waited seeing as Mizuki seemed to question what that was with the look he had. "I get to hold you, just in case we don't get another chance any time soon." he didn't want to be the doom sayer but the other thought was or never.

Mizuki walked a little ways until he was turned and kissed. Smiling he looked at Thalion though when the male began to speak he wuestioned him. What could be this condition he spoke of. Though as he continued he smiled "That sounds fair to me" He said before leaning in and kissing Thalion again though this kiss was slow and soft.

A moment or two later he pulled away then moved over to the two beds. Moving the blankets he pushed them together. Stanind back he motioned to the bed "After you" He said before helping Thalion lay down. Soon he fallowed laying down with his head tucked up under Thalions jaw. Throwing his arm around the male he covered them with a sheet as he smiled.

Sleep was reaching his eyes as they began to close. Sighing lightly he felt strong arms wrap around him. Oh how long he had waited for this moment to come. It was something that he had dreamed of for a long time "I finally have everything I ever wanted" He said in a sleepy voice as he nuzzled his head in before giving a soft yawn "Night my love..." Was the last he said before sleep took him.

He didn't figure that after everything Mizuki would protest to what he was asking. Sure there was a thought of someone questioning why they were sleeping together but he;d almost dare anyone to actually say it. But for now he thought about it and came to the conclusion of to hell with the others. This might be his last or only time to do this.

Once they were both laying down and Mizuki seemed to still finally. Thal moved a arm to pull the other closer. After everything it became rather clear of how close it had come to him never being able to do this or even tell Mizuki that he cared and loved him. But they had pulled through and everything was out in the open. Well for the most part, no one had to know just yet.. that would be another issue on its own.

Though he smiled a little hearing Mizuki speak. After all the years and they finally were back on good terms,better than before even. Truthfully he had wanted this too. Even when they could have died in the cave in he wouldn't have complained too much with having the other close. "Rest well my Mizuki." Though he knew the other was already asleep. It didn't take long for him to join him.

Though rest came easy his mind was still active enough. This area bringing back a number of memories he didn't want returned. Thoughts on the prophecy they were told of. What was he worrying about .. besides everything.

Mizuki stayed the way he was for the night. Only moving his head a little here and there. The morning came swiftly but Mizuki refused to get up. It was not until he couldnt lay there any more that he even opened his eyes. Blinking he yawned before realizing where his head was still placed. Looking down at the dark chest below him he smiled.

Placing light kisses from where his head laid up the chest and neck to under the jaw before he placed one on Thalions lips the last one fully waking the male. Mizuki smiled lightly as he watched ember orbs open "Good morning" He said lightly hearing the same from the male he kissed him again lightly before pulling back.

"As much as I would like to stay here and lather you in kisses we have a camp to prepare" He said with a smile before moving to sit up and move to the edge of the bed. Stretching he sighed as sore muscles stretched and joints cracked. "Also if I remember correctly we have a meeting to attend to" He said with a sigh.

Just as Mizuki stopped speaking a guard entered their tent and stood at attention "Im sorry sir's but the other three have ordered a meeting right now" Mizuki frowned "Why so urgent?" Mizuki asked "The scouts have returned sir and..." The guard paused making Mizuki glare "Spit it out we dont have all morning" He said and the guard stepped back. It weas rare for Mizuki to show anger towards the men so it caught him off guard "The news is grim sir" With that the guard left.

Mizuki turned his head and looked to Thalion "Is it just me or did you also just get a feeling that something bad is coming over the horizon" He said with a frown. Mizuki couldnt believe this was happening. Not a single full day out here and something was wrong besides the first cave in "Well lets hurry" He said sternly before gathering new clothes and getting dressed.

Rest was one thing but sleeping was another. He had such a time staying asleep that he wasn't sure if he even got a few hours. What was making his mind so restless, sure he over thought things at times but it wasn't normally this bad. Though feeling a few light kisses he breathed out a little, at the least something was good about today.

After a moment he finally bothered to open his eyes to see Mizuki still laying there. Though good was a bit of a lie but still. No need to worry Mizuki with his thoughts that probably meant nothing. Also the fact he personally hated mornings, afternoon or evening were much better.

He sighed a little as Mizuki reminded him they had things to do. With that he rolled over before sitting up himself still trying to finish waking up. Though at the mention of a meeting he groaned a little. "Wonder if I can get my rank back after this. I rather like not having to bother with any of this." That would be a odd request, demanding a demotion.

Listening to the guard speak of what news the scouts had brought back his ears went back a little. That wasn't good, the scouts had nothing to report up until now yet the news was apparently urgent? He nodded a little agreeing with Mizuki. "Not so sure about the kings belief in those ancient words." He said laughing weakly before getting up and going to fetch his own clothing.

It seemed more like they were a ill omen than what the king thought. It seemed one thing after another. Meeting up with Mizuki again they headed towards the tent that was set up for meetings before entering it. The three there seemed to be at each other's throats. Though Thal broke that up real quick before demanding what the hell had gotten into them when they had a enemy to fight instead of bickering among themselves.

As they entered the tent Mizuki sighed as he saw them yelling and cursing at each other. Now what the hell... Just as he was about to speak Thalion took it upon himself and split them up "Now what is so damn important that you guys are at each others throats?" Mizuki asked looking at them but they all just stood there breathing heavy "Well...some one out with it!" He said.

This was when a female stepped forward by the look of it she was human "Sir our scouts came back and tell us an army is moving our way" She said and Mizuki faultered "Already...how many men?" He asked and the female sighed "They estimate a thousand strong" So it was not a full rank meant to destroy. No this was meant to hurt what they could early in the game and get a lead.

Mizuki groaned. They didnt have that many men but enough to take on what was coming. He knew that there would be some deaths and that he could come to terms with "Well then we need to prepare" Mizuki said looking to them "We need to take defensive messures and get suited for a battle!" He said looking to the three of them.

Mizuki did not know why the sudden take charge moment happened but he was going with it "How far out were they?" He asked before the female spoke again "About a days walk" She said with a nod "That gives us to night fall" He said "We need to start setting up tents for the future wounded" He said. Looking to Thalion "What else is needed?" Mizuki asked "We need scouts on the outside look outs to give us some warning" Mizuki said lightly thinking.

He was listening to things going on though seeing as Mizuki was barking orders he wasn't about to get in the other's way. That was fine though he had enough information that he could work with. Though he was caught up in thought as Mizuki asked what else was needed.

Though that was about the moment he smirked a little. "I have a few ideas... " He thought a little longer on them before looking to the woman. "Remember that overhang I pointed out and said if push came to shove? Well set up at least one of the archery units there. And you get at least three of the units and set them up here." He said before quickly moving to a different point on the map that was on the center table of the cave systems and surrounding area.

"My other plan will buy us a bit of time. Felix I need you to get a few others, we're going to go back to where the cave in was the other day. If the eggs are still there than this little force will have a interesting welcome." The corpse of a dragon alone was going to bring trouble but they had disposed of that already. Dragon eggs were considered rare and impossible to get a hold of. though if they broke one or two that it should attack the attention of a few things...

Other dragons of the same breed would not take lightly to eggs being destroyed, plus it would attract scavengers and in cave systems like this.. they could be more than even a army could handle if they had no idea what they were up against. Felix nodded either way before Thal said that was the best they could do aside from getting the scouts out there and setting some minor traps to further thin the numbers.

Mizuki nodded his head "Yes thats great" He said looking to them and when no one moved he growled "Move it!" He said and watched as the three began to scatter. Looking to Thalion he groaned "I need to go over my supplies...I think I may need a herb or two if this is going to go any where near as well as we hope" He said with a nod of his head and turned to leave but stopped.

Turning to look at Thalion he smiled "Dont get killed I expect you back in that bed for more cuddles later" He said with a smile before he all but turn and ran out the entrance. He needed to set up tents and get ready. There was many a thing to do and all though he would of loved to stay by Thalions side he couldnt.

The day went on and the warning or battle was on everyones mind. Things were being placed up left right and center. Everyone dressing for the battle and setting up defense. Mizuki now stood at the head of the cave gazing out from between the wooden logs Mizuki sighed. It was almost night fall...and the waiting game started.

"Yeah yeah.. I'm not. I think I have a bit of a advantage here. I do know most of the dangers that can lurk." Though he knew why Mizuki was worried, there could be units ahead of the thousand or so. Either way he had some work to do if they were going to get the first plan far enough away to not cause trouble to stroll into their camp as well.

Felix was suppose to meet up where the eggs were with his group once things were set up. Only three eggs, so if all went well it would draw a basilisk out. They loved eggs and a easy meal would e tempting. That thing along would cause plenty of damage, if it was a adult one even better. Either way they probably only needed two of the three eggs but They took all three just in case. So he should feel bad killing unhatched beasts that were known to be rare... but honestly he had a personal dislike for dragons.

After a few hours they had the first two n proper locations to draw attention. Though it seemed all the traps were set up as well. Maybe the third could be used as a last minute diversion if it was needed. Though he hoped that it wouldn't be. Either way there was only a handful of scouts that stayed out far enough to give warning of any advancements in the other forces or if there were any beasts they needed to worry about.

Sooner or later the small group that had went out with Thal and Felix returned though Thal seemed a bit on edge. He didn't honestly want the dragon egg in the camp but the woman from before had brought up the good point that it could be used to lure something as a means of diversion if they did need to retreat for some reason.

Mizuki stood on guard at the front gate staff in hand and battle ready. A little while before herbs were taken to make energy last long as well as supply more. There was no way he was letting that get in the way. Watching Mizuki saw as Thalion and Felix returned "Open the gate!" He yelled and men pushed it open allowing the small group to enter.

After the gate was closed Mizuki smiled at Thalion "No bad news yet" He said with a little sigh "Thats a bonus right?" He asked with a tilt of his head. Mizuki then turned and looked out side "Its to calm out there" He said a little his ears dipping back "The forest is weery it sences the trouble ahead" He said in an almost sad tone.

Shaking his head a little he turned back to Thalion. Mizuki always had a thing for nature what with being a wood elf it cant be helped. "It seems as if the night is set for battle" He said and just as the words left his mouth the battle horn from atop the cave where the scouts were sounded. "Time for the fun" He said with a smile as he turned and ran off. Front of the lines was not good for a mage. No he had a perch to go to where he could deal the most damage at.

He shook his head a little at Mizuki asking. "Not yet, all was clear. Though I don't think it'll last long." He was counting on it not to. The sooner the enemy was sighted the better. Better chance of whatever was going after those eggs to come across them. The less forces they had to deal with the better off they were. They were out numbered as it was for the main battle so losing a bunch here wasn't something they could afford.

Though he nodded to agree with Mizuki. Though he was no wood elf anyone with ears could tell it was dead out there. No animals at all were within ear shot. With good reason. Anything that would come out now would be creatures who's purpose was to kill that or to wait for the corpses to litter the ground one or the other.

Though Thal smirked a bit as the horn sounded. "Heh... no getting yourself killed either. " He said before Mizuki ran off to find a better standing point. The downside to this... Thal had to be in the front lines to be of real use, yes he could use support runes but they had units covering that already.

"Well ya ready?" Felix asked laughing a bit. "Tsk.. this is what we're trained for isn't it? To charge aimlessly into battle in the name of the king and hope we come out on top." He was joking of course but talking helped take the nerve off a little. Not all of the units they had with them had seen much battle before this so it helped if the ones in charge remained light about the situation.

Though hissing in the distance made him smirk a bit. "Seems they might have to get past something before getting here... Wonder how many of them are going to look at the thing before they catch on." Felix shook his head a little. "You should have applied to be a ranger.. you and your beast knowledge scares me when it comes to defenses..." Though it was only in certain areas that he had good knowledge of the creatures. not his fault that it wasn't common knowledge.
