Mirai Nikki and Sailor Moon.

Rigel 07-16-2012 11:13 PM

Gintama. <3

Haze 07-17-2012 03:01 AM

Hetalia, Deadman Wonderland, Tsuritama, and Black Blood Brothers are at the very top.

Glitter 11-08-2012 12:27 AM

It be a difficult decision, so I will just say that my favorite anime is Cardcaptor Sakura, because I have always liked the way the characters were drawn. I like the way the characters are drawn in the manga of Cardcaptor Sakura also, only much more than the anime.

Darth Vader 11-08-2012 03:30 AM

I haven't seen many animes at all, but I'm in love with Death Note. I've also been somewhat meaning to watch Elfen Lied with the girl I love, but we just haven't. Maybe sometime in the future.

You have never brought up Elfen lied, what is that? :o
And Death Note! <3 That will always be the best anime, no matter which ones I watch xD

Katame Shiraga 11-11-2012 10:02 PM

>.> Everybody have an emergency exit plan? Cause I might just break Trisphee with my list.

Let's see. Angel Beats!, Bleach, DRRR!!, Baccano, Death Note, Baka & Test, One Piece, Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann, Rosario+Vampire, Chobits, Tsubasa, XXXholic, Fairy Tail, Air Gear, Ah! My Goddess, Mini Goddess, Mushi-Shi, Kuroshitsuji, Ano Natsu de Matteru, Bakuman., Black Lagoon, Blue Exorcist, Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, Cowboy Bebop, Code Geass, Darker Than Black, Chrome Shelled Regios, Ghost in the Shell, Trigun, Death Note, Devil May Cry, D. Gray-man, all Digimon series/movies, D.N.Angel, the Dragon Ball series, excluding Kai and the newest one, Eden of the East and the first movie afterward, FLCL (Weirdest anime I have ever watched.), Fruits Basket, FMA/:B, Girls Bravo, .hack//, Hellsing, Rave, Hetalia, Heroic Age, InuYasha, Jyuu Oh Sei, Kaze no Stigma, The World God Only Knows, Last Exile, Monster Rancher, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings, Oh! Edo Rocket, Needless, Nabari no Ou, Origin: Spirits of the Past, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Outlaw Star, Pandora Hearts, Pumpkin Scissors, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai 7, Samurai Champloo, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Sekirei, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Sergeant Frog, Shaman King (Though, I hate the fact that they made the Elvis guy, forgot his name, French.), Shuffle!, Spice and Wolf, Soul Eater, The Sacred Blacksmith, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, Witchblade, Wolf's Rain, Sands of Destruction, Yu-Yu Hakusho, Zoids, Zatch Bell, Fighting Foodons, Magi...and a few others that I forgot the names to, though I can picture perfectly.

One of them is, like, "Gakusei-o" or something like that. It's a very trippy anime where the patterns on people's clothes don't move and the main character is an aristocrat voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, and I guess the main antagonist is a blue-skinned, pointy-eared Earl or something that knew the main character's mother and father and I guess is seeking revenge or something on them.

The other is about these three high-schoolers who have the ability to traverse into the Spirit World by OBEs. (Out of Body Experiences.) I remember that the opening theme is called "Poltergeist." Oh, and the previews for the next episodes also have these little snippet facts about what certain parts of the brain do or what OBEs and such are. And when they show what happened in the previous episode(s), the characters' voices are always garbled like they are underwater or something.

And I'm wanting to watch a helluva lot more than this.

Tears 11-14-2012 03:22 AM

Sword Art Online is my current favorite. I don't watch many anime, I'm afraid. I used to love Naruto until it got the way it is now.

termyte 11-14-2012 04:33 AM

at the moment inuyasha.

Chronoix 11-15-2012 11:30 PM

Oh gosh.. That's really hard.. Maybe Acchi Kocchi. So darn cute. <3

Katame Shiraga 11-17-2012 02:46 PM

Ah! I just found out what one of the ones I wasn't sure was called's name! Ghost Hound. It's the one with the opening called "Poltergeist."

Agent Night 11-24-2012 08:57 PM

Gintama definitely-it has a little slice or everything. It has shonen, comedy, bad-ass fights, and drama all rolled up in a ball of crack

Epic Rave Monster 11-29-2012 03:33 AM

Shaman King and Durarara. <3

Lady Enzai 12-01-2012 11:36 AM

Enzai, Descendants of Darkness and Papa to Kiss in the Dark.

Xurxo 12-06-2012 11:59 PM

My favorite is Monster

Gankutsuou. It's based on Alexander Dumas' novel The Count of Monte Cristo... only it's like, the sci fi trippy version. Also, do yourself a favor and watch the Japanese version, Nakata Jouji is just amazing as the Count <3

Katame Shiraga 12-07-2012 04:53 PM

o.o Oh, whoops. Guess I should'a said I had already gotten my answer from Enzai-san, who happens to have a picture of Gankutsuou in their siggy...which prompted me to send them a PM asking where it was from because I couldn't remember.

Cora 12-09-2012 09:42 PM

I still have an extreme soft spot in my heart for Fushigi Yuugi.

But I also adore Kyo Kara Maoh!, Black Butler, Ai Yori Aoshi, and many others.

Katame Shiraga 12-10-2012 10:29 AM

The only one on that list that doesn't sound familiar, Cora, is Ai Yori Aoshi. And I can't recall why Fushigi Yuugi sounds familiar, but isn't Kyo Kara Maoh! the one where a black-haired kid who gets bullied all the time gets sucked into another world where he is the king of a magical kingdom or something?

Dawn 12-11-2012 07:11 AM

Fushigi Yuugi is the one about the girl who opens the forbidden book and is transported to another world as priestess and has to find seven celestial warriors, etc. I own most of the manga but never watched the Anime to it yet.. which is sad.. cause my mom bought me a few tapes she found of it.. and I love the other series the author has done, Ceres.

Currently my favorites would be Claymore, Fairy Tail and Saint Seiya.

Katame Shiraga 12-11-2012 10:01 AM

...hmm...storyline doesn't sound familiar...maybe if I saw some snapshots from the series?

Daiasita 12-11-2012 07:39 PM

so far my favorites animes are yu-gi-oh (the original one), inuyasha, monster rancher and flint the time detective. most of them were animes which i watched during my childhood.

Belial 12-14-2012 12:21 AM

Rurouni Kenshin

NeonSynth 12-17-2012 05:49 PM

My all time fave is Elfen Lied <3 fave current anime is Sword Art Online

Arikana 12-19-2012 08:19 PM

I don't really have a favourite anime as I don't really read much anymore. :( But I do follow the Pokemon and Naruto animes, well sort of for the latter. >3>;;

never heard it described quite like that but basically yes rofl.

Katame Shiraga 12-20-2012 09:29 PM

Well, the main character of what I'm talking about gets a swirlie and winds up getting sucked into a magical kingdom where people with black hair are considered royalty. I remember one part of it was where the main character took off his glove and smacked his new servant that was basically bad-mouthing him, and apparently there, that was how one proposed.

Cora 12-21-2012 07:21 AM

Thats the one xP

Katame Shiraga 12-21-2012 11:40 AM

Thought so. I actually kind got stalled on that as I was waiting for updates but wound up forgetting about it. Same with nearly all the manga I read except Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Hungry Joker, The God of High School, The World God Only Knows, Breaker: New Waves, and a couple of others.

Nexess 12-23-2012 02:28 AM

I've watched so much anime @w@ ugh, current favorite has to be Darker Than Black, first season, second season was just WEIRD.

I used to be a big fan of the Gundams, not so much anymore, but still a good series.

IronMaiden 02-08-2013 08:04 AM

Oh as for my favorite anime...

I would have to pick Initial D
It's the only thing that I find awesome to me right now, with cars and handling cars, etc. XD

Areishia 03-02-2013 03:37 AM

My favorite animes, for a long time, are/have been Death Note, Kuroshitshuji and D.Gray-Man. I found the action in all of them quite good and they also stuck to the plot of the mangas they were adapted from quite well (with the exception of Kuroshitshuji who ommited some of the gorier and more brutal parts as well as having a second season which had a story-line that I doubt will ever happen in the actual manga; Still, when it comes to this series I think I prefer the anime over the manga).

I've been panning on starting up on Yu-Ghi-Oh again since I've been hit with a giant nostalgia wave a few months ago xD.

Farore 03-04-2013 01:03 AM

My ongoing favorite anime is currently Psycho-Pass.
But for the long term, I'd have to say the -Monogatari series. The animation, characters, storytelling, and dental hygiene are superb.

Panda 03-04-2013 03:54 PM

I'm not an anime fan but I once used to be so addicted to Naruto! It was back in middle school and I would collect everything Naruto related. It was crazy.

Calomy 06-29-2013 08:24 AM

Sword Art Online Hands down. Ever since I watched it I can not recall what my favorite anime use to be. Of course I have watched a lot of animes. between 50-100 maybe.

XrosHeartless 08-18-2013 01:17 AM

FLCL hands down.

Pernicious Storyteller 08-26-2013 04:30 PM

I think my favorite anime was Ouran High School Host Club, it was both cute and funny :). The manga it was taken from was sweet too!
