Maybe one day but not today =w=
*snuggles Him some more*
Don't force yourself if you don't want to. |
^w^ Anyways how are you? I know it's only morning but still. :P
I like random.
Random is fun. And ml, I co run the charity. |
@Him
Okay so far, though soon I need to work on my taxes. x'D @Kaguya You know, I completely forgot that. o.o; DK had been running it when I joined and you weren't active yet, so I forgot who the other people were. ^^; Sorry. *hides* |
@ml
Ew sounds gross @Kaguya Really? That's interesting. It wasn't very active when I first joined in but it seems like it's slowly building back up. |
I finished my federal already, will do my state in a bit after eating. :3 Also, laughed my butt off earlier, my mom was looking for a beanie or something to wear outside and asked if I had any. I only had one she would be willing to wear, but I couldn't help but laugh when she put it on. I have a small head so it fits fine for me, but for her it was too small, to the point where she could feel it starting to come off her head. XD I laughed so hard when I saw that. XD
My grandmother is the same way. Tiny old lady in big coats and hats. =w= I can't take her seriously.
Well, the hat was geared toward preteens in design (pattern) but I can wear most of that stuff on my hands and head anyways, so my real mom bought it for me the winter before she moved across the country if I remember right. And there's been plenty of times I got kid sized hats because the adult ones are too big. XD That's why I have a bunny hat. :3
I like cute hats though. I have a gir hat that I wear, it's so awesome~
You know its kind of funny that when I go 'grrrrr' people are thinking I'm always talking about him. x'D I actually didn't like the show as a kid, I might now if I tried watching it but I have to be in the mood to watch things. .-.
I thought it was p great. I was sad that they didn't put out a 2nd season. I would've like that very much.
Well, its probably just how I was as a kid, not sure what I would think if I were to watch it now. It was a show meant for more mature people than little kids to be completely honest. ^^;
Pretty much but my mom always tells me that I was born with an old soul. So I got hip to mature stuff really quickly. But now in college I have all young friends and a couple of older friends and I'm like I love the place I'm in right now.
lol, my mom had a fit with me because I always hang out with guys because very few girls my age are into the same things as me. x'D And she yells at me about and says people are going to think I'm a lesbian if I keep that up, which I don't think is true to be honest. ^^;
Not really, but what does it matter what people think? I have a lot of guy friends. Really it doesn't make much of a difference unless she expecting you to marry and have children at some point in time???
Um...she's also the one that said I'd never be the 'bread winner' if I were to get married and that I'd be stuck doing all of the house work because I'm a girl and my husband won't do it. She said this knowing full well I have a B.A. in Mathematics and that if I could become an account I could possibly make as much as my dad or possibly more because of them being in such high demand in this area. Heck, I could even get a decent job as a book keeper once I get certified.
Sounds like someone is old fashioned.. the husband is the one going out to do the work and the wife stays at home with the children and shit. I know few 'females' who are stay at home moms, many have part time jobs and still do the wife roles and are happy.
Than again, my mom didn't work while I was young, mainly cause we moved every 2-3 years so it wasn't worth her having a job. She did get one when I was old enough to be home on my own and the guy I was sort with, was fine with me going out and finding work. I honestly couldn't be stuck in a house all day. Even now, I am working in hopes of earning what I need to pay for the local college, I am doing online courses and I am not enjoying them. I just bought a tablet as well, so I don't have to take my labtop everywhere to do my work. And I rarely go to the charity forums myself. I honestly don't post much cause I find most people don't reply to me so I am like, screw this, why bother. I come on for the games than leave usually. |
Yes old fashioned was the word I was looking for. And some guys are stay at home dads too. You don't HAVE to be a house wife. You can do both as Chole says. Or you don't have to marry at all. The choice is yours, she may be your mother but she doesn't have any say as to what choices you make. Although she will often voice them you don't have to do what she says as an adult.
As for charity that's the same problem with some of these places, it takes a long while for responses and it makes me sad. However when you have active chatter like we do here the other places don't really matter. |
I know, and the worst part of it all is that her own daughter is the bread winner in the family and her and her husband did the work equally, which is how I want to do things. Even my boyfriend says that he does cleaning and stuff at his parents' place just like I do so he's not going to be the type that makes me do it all. Heck, I think he knows how to cook more things than I do. .-. I mean he's made curry before! :O
It just seems that when it comes to stuff involving me or my brother my mom treats us poorly and then sticks her daughter and granddaughter on a pedestool. I mean she doesn't even notice when I do get cleaning done, she's actually come home and b**ched about the place needing to be cleaned. When I point out its been cleaned already she's like 'oh, well I didn't even look because I wasn't concerned about that.' Like really? Not to mention she complains about how we're talking at ten in the morning and waking her up when she's been sleeping for almost twelve hours already and is just too d*mn lazy to get out of bed and do anything. =.=; Yet when she's up at midnight yappying away really loudly on the phone to the point where its keeping me up she tells me tough sh*t its her house she can do as she likes. Yet my dad is the one who pays for the bills because she doesn't work, doesn't cook most of the time and I'm the one who does almost all the house work. The only thing she really does is clean some dishes her and my dad dirty and she still b**ches at me about being lazy. =.=; |
Well we'll see how she fares once you move out. Honestly I'd just pay no mind to it and just bide your time until you're ready to leave. She can't say anything to you after that.
That's what I'm basically doing, but sometimes I just have to let it out. Sorry for the ranting. ^^;
Feel free to rant, sometimes it's better to get it off than leaving it to fester.
My parents are sort of over protective, always have been. I pretty much have little to no freedom, if I want to purchase an item that costs a bit, I have to talk it over with them. It's pretty sad I had to talk my mom into letting me get my Demonique.. Once I get my own house, I am going doll crazy. |
That sounds a bit over bored to me. ^^; I can buy what I want, my mom can have a fit about it, but in the end my dad says its my money and I can buy things occasionally with it if I want to since I don't really buy things often anyways so it not a big deal. My mom has the mind set that if you owe someone money (my dad for helping me through college) then I cannot buy anything with my money except for things like food (which she actually still yells at me for even if the drink is less than a buck) and that I shouldn't be using it to buy games that maybe totaled one hundred dollars throughout the year. If I spend only one hundred dollars to spoil myself that's what other parents wish they kids only spent on themselves. :/ So yeah...
Yea, it's my money but practically every cent has to be counted for. XD
Through I did buy myself a tablet and I am buying a new battery for my psp and back cover, Mom can't complain cause my psp is second hand. And most of my money has been going on her bus fares. :/ Think my labtop and psp are due some love. |
lol, yep. XD Though why would you need to pay her bus fares? o.O
Why am I seeing this constant theme of over protectiveness? Like my mom is the same way, she spoiled me because well Im the first born but like she over did it, she over did the protectiveness and now I am trying to get out here on my own but it's hard. I'm almost done with college so I am going to try to get a job with a graphic design firm and make enough money to move out.
Wish it were that way with me, my mom is actually my stepmom. ^^; She's always wanting to do and send money to her kids without expecting anything back, yet has a fit with me if I don't pay my dad money each month before the deadline he placed. =.=; My mom is weird like that.
My stepdad is a jerk, he accused me of being manipulative towards my mother and yet the entire time I was home I didn't say anything to her.
Same boat when it comes to my mom, and the best part is that I don't ask my dad for anything usually, only when I need help paying for fixes on my car if I don't have the money in my bank. >_> Speaking of which I should pester my brother for some money that he owes me from dinner the other day. I need cash because one of my tires is starting to go flat and I need to put some air into it. First time going to be filling up my tires by myself, just hope its not like my brother and I have a nail or something in it. >_>
Oh Well good luck with that and hopefully it doesn't because its a pain to replace tires.
I didn't see any nails and it seemed to be fine after I got some air in it.
Great! Glad you got that sorted out.
Yep! Though it cost me a buck to get three minutes of air, I could have sworn a few years back it was only like fifty cents or something. O.o
That's the sad thing about our economy now. Most things have doubled in price yet the wages haven't. Pretty much why I use the bike pump if anything needs blown up around here, cheaper.
.-.
My dad told me to stop by the truck stop place because the one at the gas station was pretty banged up and he wasn't even sure if it still worked or not. .-. |
Perhaps you should invest in a bike pump then?
I probably should, they actually had one during the summer time at a BigLots near me, I might check it out next time they come in. x'D
