This may just be my sleep deprived brain seeing patterns where there are none, but it seems fishy to me that all of the people who were present at the start of the evening were all prescribed laudanum...
|
Except Gunther, yes.
|
And Den asked an important question! Yay! XD
|
Hey guys, sorry for the delay. Work had me pull a double and then open the next day. Will be off in the next two hours and will update all questions then!
|
Remember, I still have a question for this round I can ask... Depending on how things go, that'll affect who I ask next and what question I ask.

Let's see, we know Tavish stands to gain the most from the deaths. However Bonsey has been acting strange, making a scene about he medicine used for the murder when basically the whole town uses the stuff. Not to mention Gunther had been looking into his past. He did have the chance to kill both victims, and in regards to Mrs. Tavish he could have thought she knew something about him. I know Salone said we could solve it now but I'm not that smart. ^^;

Hmmm, well, now I'm kinda suspicious. Seems to me the good lady Molatto is avoiding answering the question I'd asked...
|
One reason I could think of is because she honestly doesn't know, or she knows and is afraid of someone else knowing what she knows. Either way the second one would mean she's scared, and if she's scared about Bonsey's past she must also be scared of him and possibly for good reason.
|
Chapter 4 will be up tonight, along with the audible narrations of both 3 and 4. Along with that, everyone will have 3 new questions they can ask! Hehehe. I think it's time we put a little twist in to this plot...
|
...Well, dangit. DARN YOU, SALONE!

Clever, but now that leaves us with mostly Tavish and partially the butler as the culprits. But why would Molatto be a target I wonder. Maybe she questioned someone she shouldn't have between the first two murders?
|
Isabella was rumored to be an employee of Tavish's at one time (being a mercenary and all).
Alternatively, the account could be unreliable - Bosney may not be mentally sane. I had thought Isabella was going to be the murderer since the beginning, to be honest. She didn't fit in. Now she's dead... |
Given what was revealed in the last chapter, we should all make a concerted effort to ask the remaining male characters how old they are.

I'm late but I'm finally caught up with the plot and I'm so curious what's going to happen next.
Is it possible that the murderer is an uninvited guest? dun dun dun |

Molatto was the one person I trusted completely and poof they died.
But considering she died, I can completely trust Alabaster. It has to be Dervy. |

Oh gosh I was hoping that took Cupcake
I'll be sure to add questions once I catch up on whats already been asked x___x |
Waiting to see the answer to some of the questions. XD

As a side note, still sad about Isabella...twas my favorite character. Long live the unstable mercenary!
(may be tired/in pain enough to be akin to drunk/loopy, so...ignore) |
Due to my unfair advantage of being friends with the author (and his incessantly dropping hints for me) I already know who the killer is, so I'm not going to make an accusation unless nobody else gets it by the deadline. =P
Also, Isabelle apparently still manages to be badass, even in death. |
I have my suspicions and I also have a bad feeling about said suspicions...
|
Well, there's no penalty for a wrong accusation, and you can make multiples. Nothing to hold you back Auto, go for it!
|
yeah, but I don't want to make an accusation 'til I'm absolutely certain, and the murderer offed my prime suspect...
|
The Murderer: Dervy Tavish
How they did it: Using the back channels/walls and slowly killed guests one by one. Why: MONEY (I'm not good at this....) |
I have to agree with Illusion, I've been suspecting him this entire time.
|
The Murderer: Lady Scrimshaw
How they did it: She slipped the laudanum into Lord Long-Name's meal when her servant was working on something else, she slipped into the service halls and caught Giselle unawares, and then used the service halls to come up from behind Isabella. Why: She and Tavish are in cahoots and stand to gain a fair bit of business from unregulated trade and keeping the lower class oppressed. |
Hmm...I like Den's idea, but I keep remembering how Salone was saying how it was a very opportunistic series of murders...
|
Actually.
Someone has solved it. Now that I am off work and can catch up on things. Congratulations Illusion. You solved the murder. I will have the conclusion of everything up for you tomorrow. In the meantime, You solved the murder! Congratulations! |
*Bows* Congratulations to all, and to Salone for the mystery!
*Fades away* |
Good job, everyone! :D
|
Ha! I suspected him the whole time, but I didn't want to say anything because to me it wasn't a 'tight' enough knot if you get my drift.
|
Oh damm. I solved it?
I'm surprised no one else has spoken up about it xD. I know I'm not the only one. |
