So i was just outside for 30 minutes, walking around with my neighbor helping her play pokego x'D

I reset it for fair comparison because I have been playing the other game for several months and it had more data on there.

But I did reset it and will look at it by the end of the week. I will have Pokemon Go open more often but Avengers Academy is still using more data from what I can currently tell.

Pokemon GO- Battery Saver mode, no sound - 24 hours of game play (approxomite)- 152 MB Used

I guess Avengers Academy just redownloads stuff every time you play. I can't imagine it actually needs that much data for GAMEPLAY ITSELF. o.o Poorly optimized game.

I cant wait for arrived in spain

o3o thats all the data you used? I was actually gonna ask for people to post their data usage rates of pokemon go, so i guess this would be the best time to ask. Especially since one of my friends last night said 1 hour = 1GB data x.x


I use the pay as you go tracfone stuff so when I get my new phone, I wanna be prepared for the data usage. o3o

and my only thoughts were: The game already KNOWS where your at causes it uses the GPS... and I may be using Bluestacks to 'play' but I'm not using it to cheat. Folks who use bluestacks to play fairly so far only have had 1 hour to a 24 hour account lock. Those who have used it to get a crap load of PokeCoins and other items, are getting perma-bans.

I mainly wanted to try to 'reserve' my user name >-> I was too late though. I had to go with DemonskidDK.

depends on the data you speak of. o3o I'm talking about the 3/4G data (internet) usage that Pokemon Go eats. anyone know how much PokeGo eats?

then there is that data that apps have and download during use. To clear that data, you go to your phones settings, app info, clear data.

Iphone- Setting - Cellular- and that is how you see the data

I also keep my AR off to make it easier.

Pokemon Go has used 70.08 MB of my data so far since I got it.

I don't play it all that much, but that does include at least 2 hours of it being on with no wifi, so... 1gb / hr seems ridiculous and wrong.

As a note, there is a bug in the game today: pokemon will appear as 3 steps away. You can counter this with relativity - the pokemon towards the top left are closer than the ones towards the bottom right.

(Side note, Growlith and Horsea added today :3)

Togepi is from Gen 2. Right now Gen 1 Pokemon are released and not even ALL of them are out yet.

I read some where that Gen 2 should start being released sometime in December. o3o
