Woah Cho! no way one of those old tv's! That must be a bit cool. Can you get broadcast channels on it? What can you pick up.

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 06:21 PM

Glitch 12-31-2016 06:32 PM

I just made this terrible decision to watch Zoolander 2.

Don't do it.

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 06:33 PM

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 06:34 PM

Glitch 12-31-2016 06:35 PM

It is as bad as you would expect it to be

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 06:38 PM

i actually cannot conceive of it at the moment XD the first one was as bad as you'd expect a third installment of a b-movie to be XD

Glitch 12-31-2016 06:40 PM

Let us say D movie then. It is a D movie.

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 06:43 PM

I just heard today that Zoolander 2 was absolutely horrible.

I have my tv/vcr combo but it ate my tape too. So now I just use it in the basement when I walk on my treadmill.

I had my first HD tv that had a DVD player attached, loved it. One day it wouldn't shut off. Weird. right?

Glitch 12-31-2016 06:44 PM

is it?

i don't know these things.

but it is bad ok!

and kind of offensive o-o

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 06:47 PM

i was making a dick joke XD it isn't i am just immature, haha

dude, i stopped using mine entirely

Moonshadow 12-31-2016 06:48 PM

I feel so glad and lucky to have a smart tv now.
I can watch my Netflix and Amazon Prime.

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 06:49 PM

what about a computer tho? it can do that stuff too AND work with hdmi tvs

Moonshadow 12-31-2016 06:54 PM

My eyesight is bad, I cannot watch or read on a computer.
I do very little, sometimes I actually have to print something out to read it, so my eyes don't go buggy. I watch youtube but only the short videos. I tried watching a movie and gave up after 10 minutes.

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 06:55 PM

then how can you watch a tv?

Moonshadow 12-31-2016 06:59 PM

Because its not close to my face. It is pretty far away.
But I never thought of it, I guess I can plug mycomputer in and watch it through the TV, but the TV was a gift so I'm not going to complain.

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 07:03 PM

are you in a place where you can get glasses?

Moonshadow 12-31-2016 07:07 PM

I have glasses, I have ocular rosecea and it causes blurred close-up vision.
I have medicine for it, but at night it gets annoying. Reading on a computer screen since you tend to blink less is the reason i can't read on a computer screen for long.

Like right now because I've been posting for a while, my eyes are blurry and I will have to take a break soon.

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 07:16 PM

ah, understandable. yeah, hooking up to your tv will help

Moonshadow 12-31-2016 07:20 PM

I'm so hungry I think I will eat!

littl3chocobo 12-31-2016 07:25 PM

go eat~

Lavender le Fay 12-31-2016 09:22 PM

It's finally 2017 (at least for me.) I feel so much relief now because it ended on a positive note. How's everyone else?

Moonshadow 12-31-2016 09:44 PM

Hey Lav: I have decided to have a quiet New Year's Eve and watch the ball drop in my bedroom or maybe just fall asleep.

I'm going to take a nice hot shower soon and jump in bed, so I can greet the new year all sparkly clean!

I am on the Eastern Coast of USA, you are 4 hours ahead?

Glitch 01-01-2017 12:48 AM

we're trying to stay awake so we can do the midnight kiss over here but we're also sleepy xD

Moonshadow 01-01-2017 12:49 AM

I'm about ready to crash. So sleepy, I'm just going to bed .
Happy 2017 everybody <3

Glitch 01-01-2017 12:54 AM

Happy new year!

Lavender le Fay 01-01-2017 12:00 PM

I'm 4 to 6 hours ahead. I decided to have a quiet evening with myself. I quit drinking this year - one of the few high points of 2016 - and the traditional glass of champagne floored me. Sigh, to think I used to be able to guzzle down half a bottle of vodka, and be sober in half an hour. That's scary to think about.

2016 ended on a positive note, though. Nothing extraordinary, though; I had a pink cake, I found a gold bracelet on the road, a make-up brand that I really wanted to try finally ships worldwide. It's good, it's whatever.

Glitch 01-01-2017 12:35 PM

I liked going out for new years but I couldn't party this year because of being pregnant haha.

It sure changes things D:

Moonshadow 01-01-2017 01:10 PM

@ Lav I've kinda quit drinking too, maybe one glass of wine or a beer, and that no everyday or week. Sometimes I go months without drinking. Those are all quiet positives that keep us engaged and happy in life. So I am glad for that. This year I hope for an alien cake!

@Glitch Being pregnant I'm sure changes that "party" atmosphere for you. I'm not much of a party animal so New Year's Eve is totally lost on me!

Lavender le Fay 01-01-2017 02:38 PM

I saw a 50 year old man looking my age, and I asked him what is he doing with himself. He said no alcohol, lots of exercise, lots of sleep at the right time and good cosmetics. Well, I quit alcohol almost 100%, exercise and I are now acquaintances instead of complete strangers - that's something.

I haven't been to a New Year's event since my.. early teens, I think. Long story short, in case anyone's wondering - I don't make friends easily and I was tossed into a private school. Even shorter still - I'm a loser.

Glitch 01-01-2017 02:47 PM

no more of a loser than me.

Moonshadow 01-01-2017 02:52 PM

Okay guys, I don't think either one of you is a loser. That is self-talk that the universe hears :(

I wake up every morning and I say: I am happy, I am loved, I am grateful, I am healthy, I am peace. Please know that the world sees things in a very skewed way, that "popular" people are just scared people. We need to be confident, we need to know that we shine with the light of a thousand suns!

I make friends easier online because there is not that physicality or that dross hanging around, because online you can see the true worth of a person, you can see their energy, their soul...etc

No one is a loser, unless they are unkind to children, pets or murder someone.
You guys are all worth more than you realize.

Glitch 01-01-2017 02:56 PM

I was trying to cheer lavender up! ^_^

But I am pretty lame right now =.=
No car no job no money and I am living with my grandparents and my mom and my boyfriend! But it will turn around, I just hate relying on other people for everything.

Lavender le Fay 01-01-2017 03:01 PM

I think we were both using a bit of self-depricative humour there. I don't want to speak for Glitch, but it's definitely my cup of tea.

Though that was beautiful of you, Moonshadow. I loved reading that. At this point in time I can say; I am working on being happy, I am loved, at least by myself, I am grateful, and I am healthier than I was. I learned all about positive and negative attitudes on my very own skin. Having a positive attitude doesn't mean you'll get anything more than peace of mind and soul, but that's a whole lot. (You kind of reminded me how the latest US elections were won by fearmongering. Not a topic I want to get into, by the way.)

Moonshadow 01-01-2017 03:02 PM

@Glitch you are so sweet! But you know I can say I'm a loser too, cause sometimes the world looks at me and says: what a weirdo!
And "lame" is not accurate either. You are just having a struggle right now, which you already know will turn around, and your baby <3 Wow! so exciting! You are so lucky to have family like your mom and grandmother, mine are both gone.
