Multi-limbed folks, assemble!!

Den 05-08-2018 09:00 PM

Looks like we had a Drider party earlier. :3

Drifter 05-09-2018 01:28 AM

Suze might be screaming. Slightly.

Veshora 05-09-2018 04:36 AM

Good thing Suze isn't here at the moment.

Koprina 05-09-2018 11:45 PM

"E-er... why would Suze be screaming?"

Death by Mirrors 05-10-2018 08:35 AM

She's not too excited about spiders.

Tam I am 05-10-2018 03:55 PM

0_0 The spider nerd just realized that all you driders have your legs connected funny.

Yup, he’s arachnophobic.

...True.

Koprina 05-10-2018 08:14 PM

o.O "We do?" Koprina looks at her legs, confused.

Drifter 05-11-2018 01:32 AM

Yeah. All eight legs on a spider are supposed to come from the first segment.

Veshora 05-11-2018 02:37 AM

I'm someone's science experiment, so guess that explains my legs.

*looks around* Death? Did you even study spider anatomy first?

mdom 05-11-2018 11:32 AM

driders are a different uh
species
genus
or something
discovered by trisphee

Death by Mirrors 05-11-2018 12:55 PM

Actually they're rumored to be former drow.
Which doesn't really explain the legs issue. So be glad I made your butt appear smaller, Vesh!

Witchchylde 05-11-2018 01:28 PM

So I guess since they all come from the thorax, or torso as it were, then really they're eight armed rather than eight legged.

Tam I am 05-11-2018 08:01 PM

So they're handy people.

Koprina 05-11-2018 08:55 PM

Koprina facepalms at the pun.

Witchchylde 05-12-2018 12:22 PM

Just saw an adorable little brown lizard scurrying down the front door ramp this morning. He was maybe three inches long from nose to tailtip. The scales flashed red when the sunlight could get through the clouds.

Death by Mirrors 05-12-2018 04:39 PM

Sounds like an awesome creature, especially with those scales flashing in sunlight.

Koprina 05-12-2018 11:40 PM

"Oooo, that does sound pretty!"

Witchchylde 05-13-2018 11:28 AM

I was very careful to walk on the further side of the ramp and go slowly so I didn't scare him underneath, and he finally sat still and watched me go past him.

Rainbowfox Ari 05-13-2018 01:09 PM

[As the person who designed these Driders, I'm an arachnaphobe. I wasn't exactly looking at pictures of spiders to draw them, kthnks.]

Death by Mirrors 05-13-2018 02:24 PM

Then let me express my respect for drawing driders as an arachnophobe, reference pictures or not. Strider is still my favorite Smooch Quest character.

Rainbowfox Ari 05-14-2018 07:42 PM

[I'm glad. ^^ I'm sorry they're not anatomically accurate.]

Den 05-14-2018 08:48 PM

They're still awesome.

Yup, I absolutely second that.

On 'Wizard 101' they left off a set of legs to try and make the spoods unscary. I love my pider anyway.
