e~e; I gotta move someplace without pests...like...
Antarctica, or Delaware!

mdom 12-27-2019 06:43 PM

We also have ants D: GETOUTTAMYSUGAR

Espy 12-28-2019 03:12 AM

...I ever mention that one summer where I accidentally left a bagel in my messenger bag and a whole fucking colony of ants moved in, and I carried the bag around for at least a day before noticing?

Death by Mirrors 12-28-2019 04:41 AM

Never had any roach problems, but we only recently got rid of the ants that tried to invade our kitchen.

Espy 12-28-2019 04:43 AM

Had a traumatic experience with ants one... no, two... times as a kid.

Heck, I had one just a few weeks ago! Our elderly Chiweenie got roaming in the yard and wore himself out at the top of the hill, and in the process of following him up to carry him home, my foot got caught ina small hole. I fell face first into an ant hill. The attack was nearly instantaneous. I had big red bite marks on my throat for weeks. They got in my clothes and hair too.

mdom 12-28-2019 07:14 PM

Nooo in your face D:
hope you recovered quickly

Merskelly Metalien 12-28-2019 07:50 PM

eUo;;;;;
That's fucking horrifying.
Even more horrifying than me getting a wasp caught in my hair during a car-ride home.

Espy 12-28-2019 09:19 PM

...oh okay, both of those are actually terrifying.

Merskelly Metalien 12-28-2019 09:22 PM

;U; Yeah, that was something I unfortunately remember. I just can't forget how close the buzzing was to my ear, <x'[ and how scared I was that it would fall down in my top and sting my back or neck. ;~; Big yikes moment.

*pats ice bar gently*
Could I get a vodka cherry cocktail please?? ;u;

Espy 12-28-2019 10:18 PM

<Sure.>

-mixes vodka, cherry grenadine, seltzer water, and a bit of lime juice, and tops it off with crushed ice and two maraschino cherries-

...Sometimes I feel like maybe I should try mixing the drinks I think up.

Mekatra 12-28-2019 11:37 PM

I keep misreading the name of this thread as Ice Bear instead of Bar.

You should maybe try it... Though not too often.

Witchchylde 12-29-2019 12:16 AM

I don't even drink, and that sounds tasty.

same.

it's always dismayed my irl friends who wanted to get me to try drink that the only drinks i was remotely attracted to were cocktails with a lot of other stuff going on in them other than the alcohol

Mekatra 12-29-2019 01:17 PM

I only like to drink when there is enough mixer that I don't taste the alcohol at all.

I used to make chunky monkey shkes with banana liquor in them. It was pretty tasty.

Espy 12-29-2019 01:19 PM

I once made a really nice cocktail where I couldn’t taste the vodka at all. ...and then I added more vodka and ruined it.

No clue what the drink actually was, unfortunately.

Mekatra 12-29-2019 01:27 PM

There is a fine line between tasty and painful when vodka is involved.

Espy 12-30-2019 02:05 AM

Generally I tread on the painful side.

Mekatra 12-30-2019 02:22 AM

I can't do that. Then again, I am not much of a drinker.

Espy 12-30-2019 04:02 AM

I try to not be.

Death by Mirrors 12-30-2019 06:40 AM

Hey, can I bribe you to make up a drink and name it after me? I've always wanted to have my own drink.

daikokunyo 12-30-2019 01:22 PM

Death by Mirrors actually totally sounds like the name of a cocktail.

Death by Mirrors 12-30-2019 03:39 PM

Thank you ^^
I may be biased of course, but in my opinion it has a much better ring to it than, say, "sex on the beach"

Espy 12-30-2019 06:34 PM

Agh, oh gods, so many recolors.

Mekatra 12-30-2019 06:37 PM

Somehow it seem like it would have something red in it like grenadine or cranberry juice.

Biomecha 12-30-2019 08:52 PM

I'm liking the galaxy recolors and the blues.

mdom 12-30-2019 09:55 PM

Outer space santa

Mekatra 12-30-2019 11:31 PM

Cosmic santa is best santa. The red color is all Coca-Cola's fault anyway.

Den 12-30-2019 11:55 PM

the modern version of Santa is Coca-cola's fault.

Biomecha 12-31-2019 12:09 AM

I like the newer Fashion Santa.

Mekatra 12-31-2019 12:12 AM

It is funny to me how many people don't realize that modern santa is one heck of a marketing campaign.

Den 12-31-2019 03:29 PM

It really is. I kinda prefer the older versions, myself.

Merskelly Metalien 12-31-2019 07:37 PM

*thanks CRT and raises drink*
-u- Here's to The Twilight Zone marathon's 60th anniversary. May it be a surviving remnant of humanity for ages to come.
Also to the new year I guess. 2020. :/ New decade.
But mostly The Twilight Zone! As it's the only time it shines bright enough for people to acknowledge it. ;u; *takes a drink*
To travelling to another dimension! vUv <3

Mekatra 12-31-2019 10:48 PM

your tongue might get stuck to it.

Biomecha 01-01-2020 12:19 AM

If you tell people, you take away the fun of watching what happens.

Den 01-01-2020 02:20 AM

*grabs a chisel, begins chipping off small chunks of ice for their drink*

littl3chocobo 01-01-2020 03:14 AM

wait, i thought the twilight zone was from the 50's, would that make it the 70th anniversary?

Biomecha 01-01-2020 03:19 AM

It seems every time I catch a marathon, it's on the same episode. And it happened again, the one with the eye glasses.

Den 01-01-2020 03:23 AM

That is weird enough to be a Twilight Zone episode in and of itself.
