Lucid kept looking around the room in a panic. She couldn't see any way to escape. But then she spotted something near the door, under all the crawling bugs. I...never put a rug there... she thought. Lucid suddenly pinched her nose shut and tried to breathe. Yes...of course, it's all a fabrication she realized. Lucid, so named for her ability in lucid dreaming, always used that as her check. Once she knew that the world around her was all in her head, she knew that she could do anything she wished with it. But Lucid had no time for fun and games. She simply dismissed the bugs and walked straight out the front door, returning back to the training grounds.

*More blinked; tears welling up in her eyes at the stinging pain* "Yes...General, I understand."

Taishi looked up for a moment and watched as she seen the goings on "you seemed so happy then" she would whisper "you where reborn into a life of servitide... I was raised in it" she would say quietly 'My name is Umarii shinada shidi... I am the empress, possessor and keeper of secrect for the dragonic race... if this really happens then it is my fault' would place into fenrir's mind she didn't know if only she could hear into this realm but refused to take the chance

Standing taishi began to glow a deep blue her wings began to lose their feathers and become covered in pure white scales, their shape also changes to look more dragonic, but because of her mood she forced herself to grow into that of a twenty-year-old woman her skin and hair become paler also her robing would become covered in light-shadow armour covered in light element runes of protection and healing "I refuse to let this come to pass, let me out of here now!" she demanded her voice showing her warrior side and that she was serious "I will defend my home, my family and my race no matter the cost to me" she would say her golden eyes now glowing like bright suns

@Taishi: "You must find your own way out, I can not help you with that, and I was happy once, but the happiness was killed"

@Lucid: Dopplegangers with an intent to kill her surrounded her "Defend yourself against many opponents that want you dead"

Lucid gripped her gunblade tightly. She held the record time for taking down all the practice dummies, but had never needed to worry about multiple moving targets before. She shot two immediately before needing to block an attack from behind. She angled her gunblade to be able to shoot a third as she parried the axe's blow.

Taishi listened and looked down to her Jun-jin crystal that had began to glow when her tears touched it "Yaine ta yo zai mah, quo zeh yei?" she would say to herself her eyes widening as she had an epipheny "our crystals..." she wouldsay holding her own, the armor fading as did then wings when this was happening she returned to her normal twelve-year-old form with long lavender hair, her golden eyes lost there ferocious glow and her plain white sil robes appeared once more "This isn't real, my race lives and my home realm is still there... we are unable to be hurt..." she would say "So long as we have the love of our parents we will survive" she would say her voice showing true resolve in her words "I refuse this future!" she would say her hands coming down to her sides

As the head of a chain axe flew towards Lucid, she held up her gunblade to block. Unfortunately, the chain wrapped around her bladed. Lucid tugged and pulled, shaking the footing of the doppleganger and knocking her into another of the Fenrir copies. Lucid shot at an approaching target, not killing it but slowing it down, and unwrapped the chain from her own weapon.

Sei was shocked and disgusted by the twisted illusion that enveloped him. All around the horrors of war wrenched the landscape into a cruel wasteland of despair. On the ground, as if waiting for him, was a twisted copy of himself to match the landscape.

It rose on wings not unlike his own, and rushed towards Sei. He changed his direction and they began to do a deadly dance in the sky. His opposite was tough and knew all of his moves, but Sei had been trained well by his General. He sensed the enemy's aura and found that there was a weak spot on his chest. He slashed at the spot, the enemy cried out, and the illusion shattered like a pane of glass.

The bright light of Trisphee momentarily blinded him, but he righted himself feet before the ground. He was breathing heavily and tired, but he endeavored to fight on. "My General... I have conquered my illusion!"

Sei remembered that Taishi and him were now connected telepathically, so he thought something to her, Remember, you're not alone. Whatever your illusion is, know that you have comrades with you even in your darkest hour. I /know/ you can do it!

He dodged just as a Fen illusion aimed a blow right at his head. Slashing in a wide arc, two of them soon vanished. He gave a sigh of relief and continued to train.

*More continued to practice, trying to detect which was real and which was not. In her efforts she resulted in her being attacked twice by the real one before she finally caught it and beheaded it. Then again she tried, again and again until blood dripped down her body. She was angry and wouldnt stop.

Taishi's eyes opened wide 'Sei?' she would say into his mind in disbelief 'I know I am not alone, I refuse to fail... i refuse the future i've just seen' she would continue say into his mind and soon she would appear next to him "Nice to see you again" she would say moving around his movement as if it was some part of a graceful dance "Shall we work together again?" she would ask her hand glowing ice blue as she spoke a fen illusion move into an ice trap that she had just set, turning it into an over grown ice cube

"Working together sounds fine to me," he replied as a smile spread across his face. While she used ice to pierce the illusions, he merely slashed his polearm for the same effect. "Nice of you to join me, though," he snicked as they continued their deadly dance in the skies above Trisphee.

Taishi rolled her eyes "You are an evil big brother do you know that" she would say her voice pouting and playfully hurt as she brought out her wings and almost dive bombed to the ground but stablized herself "I hate these things... " she would say climbing quickly elegantly dodging fen clones as she moved back to Sei "I have a gift for you after we get through this" she would say pointing to her crystal quickly "Nai mi ta" she said moving her hands forward as she did so tendrils of pure void appear behind three fen clones and watched as they where absorbed into the abyss

((Nai mi ta = void whip absorbtion))

"Aww... big brothers are supposed to be mean," he replied with a huge grin that soon spread across his face. He turned and spun around with his wings closed and polearm out, creating a vortex of steal which missed on and caught one clone off-guard. "A gift, eh? I wonder what that could be!"

He closed his eyes and threw his polearm at one of the clones, retrieving it as it passed through a Fenrir's head. This is becoming a bit easier now that I can fly!

All the things attacking and training them crumbled, it was obvious wherever Fenrir was now, she had lost control of her powers. There general was either in trouble or distracted.

Feathers fell from the sky and formed into a being, blood dripped to the ground when the being became whole. Fenrir was trying to lift herself as she held her side with one hand. Blood dripped through her fingers, down her face, and from her back and side. She was badly injured, she had pretty much been run through.

A wolf like whimper escaped her and she collapsed a pool of blood spreading across the ground, Fenrir was now unconscious.

Sei saw the blood-splattered feathers as his general appeared before his very eyes. He saw her collapse into a pool of her own blood, completely defenseless. He immediately swooped down to her and looked over her injuries.

She had been though quite an ordeal, and Sei knew that these wounds were much deeper than they appeared. He stripped some of his armor and tried to stop some of the bleeding with it, but these wounds were very serious.

He screamed into the camp, "Generals, please come quick! Fenris is badly hurt!"

Taishi pouted again hearing what sei said "Any, your suppose to love your little sisters too" she would say sticking out her tongue as she ducked under his polearm "Careful with that... you might poke some's eye out with it" she would say giggling a little as she gave him a crystal almost identical to her own 'Jun-jin... it's made for protection and enhances abilitys' she would say into his mind 'This type is only used by the ascent arco royal family' she would continue, it was a sign of trust in him that she did class him as her family.

Taishi's head tilted slightly as she seen Sei swoop down and quickly followed him her eyes widening as she seen how harmed ther general was "Fenrir" she would say gently, her hands coming out over the fallen female, her eyes closed "Nai yu zai cha gokai mah zem ta" she would say as her hands glowed a pure white her hair moving as if blowing in the wind, she was trying to heal Fenrir but she had no idea if she would be sucessful or not

Dacorum appears near Fenrir in a flash of white light.

My general!

He drops his glaive to the side and quickly unstraps his shield.

I sensed your distress... What happened?

He begins to tend to his general's wounds with both mundane first-aid and magical treatment.

Espy walked slowly to the training grounds, stopping at the edge and looking around. Suddenly, she caught a whiff of blood. Ears perking up, she ran over to where the blue-haired man was and saw Fenrir, curled up on the ground and bleeding profusely.

What! How...what....?

Espy rummaged through her satchel and found finally found what she was looking for: Several rolls of gauze and bandages, and an assortment of ointments and poultices. She quickly spread them out before her, took off her blades, and went to work.

He was glad when General Dacorum appeared. "General, she appeared just moments ago in a bloody heap. I do not know what happened to her, but I bet Zephyr had something to do with it."

He bent down closer to Fenrir, and did his best to aid Dacorum as he aided Fenrir. "Tell me what to do and I'll help in any way possible, General. I want Fenrir to live as well."

At Dacorum's touched she coughed and regained consciousness looking at him through blood and tear filled eyes.

"The general...their...general...is..my.."

she coughed heavily again blood sliding down her lips, when he was done he'd need to get her to the healers.

"my...Zephyr..."

Fenrir fell unconscious once again in his arms.

Taishi opened one eyes slightly continuing to concentrate on the healing "Sei, who's Zephyr?" she would ask her voice sounding very naive, though her eyes closed her hands glowing more brighter as she continued to heal the wounds of the injured general

(You can cut in, seeing your general hurt was supposed to be part of this, so go for it)

Sei heard the words that Fenrir had spoken... 'her Zypher.' What did that mean? Were they friends, lovers, rivals, bitter enemies? The word my was not something people threw around without some meaning behind it. He tried to shrug it off and continue to try and mend what they could of Fenrir.

Dacorum seems puzzled. "Your" Zephyr? He shakes his head. This is sure to be relevant later, but he has more pressing concerns at the moment.

So our generals have clashed... and theirs seems to be the stronger...

Axel's eyes began to glow red at the smell of blood, but seeing the wounded general, he fought back his blood rage.

"I can't be around this, is there a doctor nearby?" He asked looking around. It was very difficult to control his need for blood. One thing he wished the goddess had taken...

Fenrir was definitely weakening, her skin seemed to grow paler before there eyes, but she would live none the less. She just needed time to recover.

Zy...pher......

Storm had told Espy the name a few times. Although she appeared to be focused on bandaging her general wounds, a conflict was raging behind Espy's eyes.

Should I ask him...? I might get caught there. But...this!

She continued mixing different potions. All of a sudden, she remembered that dark swirling liquid that she had been experimenting on a few days ago, and pulled out a small vial. Days of work had gone into this vial, and she had transmuted blood, her own, as well as juniper berries and essences, into what she hoped would be a decent healing potion. She unstoppered the vial and poured it into the poultice, and resumed mixing the ingredients.

He was nervous at what the corrupt were planning with their leader having outmatched ours. "Is it even possible for us to win this... I mean, look at General Fenrir. She is completely trashed." He continued to try to stop the bleeding. "Come on, General. We need you to fight with us! Without you, we cannot win!"

Taishi opened her eyes "Her wounds are healed she just needs to rest" she would say and then thought back to what she said 'Sei, I seen her nightmare... She was with this man, she was dragged off and killed could Zephyr be her beloved one?' she would ask him into his mind so no others could hear

Duchess heard the loud commotion coming from this area of the camp and let her curiosity get the better of her. She wandered in and stepped back in shock as her General lay in a bloody pool on the floor.

She shook in mild fear and asked a nearby soldier, "Does anyone know what happened here?"

Sei heard Duchess ask what happened, and he turned and explained to her the events that had just transpired, "...and that's where we are now."

Sei then breathed a sigh of relief at the news of Fenrir's eventual recovery. She was badly damaged, but she would recover in time. "General, please rest, we will do our best while you recover. Taishi, I don't know if Zephyr is her lover or not, but clearly there is SOMETHING very serious there.

"We should probably get her back to camp and let her rest on a bed."
