You can decide Esp. Otherwise, Mirri is going to stuff Rin in his face (not 100 percent literally) with her most severe "annoyed mother cat' look and instructions not to leave the kit, then go back in to find the stranger.

I was thinking about adding in some basic age groups for people to get an idea of what the other cats are like, eg. "child, teenager, young adult, middle aged, etc," or a human year equivalent. Mirri would probably be in her 50's if she were human, experienced mother cat.

No the 'silvery-grey' cat is not Quintus. It is Simone, who is also trapped in the building.

I just noticed that since no one knew how to defeat the dog and we all got nailed by writer's block, that probably should have been GAME OVER... instead, epic acts of heroism gave us all 1-ups

The dog wasn't interested in attacking the cats. I just assumed everyone came in through the window. Not everything is going to be a kill-it-or-die scenario. ;)

And I kinda like to make my own deus ex machina instead of depending on mercy in future occurrences.

I don't think there should be any DEM at all on either end because it basically means plot failure. With the sudden appearance of that many rats it didn't look to me like everyone was going to make it out of the fight and if a character dies in RP, is stays dead. Hence I brought the jack in to even the odds.

Anyway, war event took priority at the time and I decided to move things along since it did seem the lot of us were at a block. On the whole though, I'd rather see plot and story moved forward by the cat's own actions and initiative rather than outside forces creating and solving problems on a regular basis.

I don't mind players bringing in things but keep in mind that events that do happen affect every character and I want to avoid too much chaos because of constant epic scale events that don't have a lot to with developing the storyline.

Right now it's get out of the fire. ;). Then we figure out what we do. Since non of the shops cats know what happened given they were either asleep or not around when the fire actually started, we'd have to see if the outside cats know or saw anything.

This, of course, doesn't mean their isn't any behind the scenes stuff going on. If anyone wants to add notes about their character's motivations or ideas they may have picked up, (like if Quintus is still wanting to look for the missing calico cat) feel free to bring it up here, or if there's anything that anyone would really like to see incorporated into the story.

Poggio has had to leave with means Jinx has gone missing too. That hasn't been addressed in the story yet.

It sounds like if Kage finds that out, then we would have to drag out that cat, lest we lose another to a cause in vain.

If we DON'T rescue Jinx (for example, didn't have enough time, doorway collapsed, etc.) could we say that when the cats went back, they so no trace of him? Then if Poggio wants to re-join, we could say somehow he'd survived.

Since the missing cats seem to just plain dissapear, they wouldn't find any trace of him anyway so I guess we can leave it either way. If Poggio does decide to come back then she can decide how me made it out of the fire, whether it was mundane reasons or supernatural ones, but yeah. No trace of him works fine.

I take it Ciaran is really big for an Abyssinian? Or is he just really tall? Given that Maine Coons and Nor. Forests are among the largest breeds out there. ;)

He's a nice fourteen or so pounds >.> So, yeah, relatively big for an Aby.

Okay, question all, does anyone here want to start playing this rp again? We can drop teh old thread and start a new, from where we left off, or just pick things up there.

Currently, if memory serves, The Abbysinian took off after a mystery cat, Rin followed and got distracted with a bracelet while Mirri follwoed to ensure the cat didn't get stuck in something.

The shop that had been the cat's home since the disappearace of it's keeper has burned to the ground and the felines havet yet to regroup.

I get the feeling we should start fresh, what with all of the (to me) confusion and people coming in and dropping out. I mean, I like where we left off and all, but it just got a bit messy.

I'll loan out Pirate cat if anyone needs a cat XD
